Wait, you said in the revolution thread that you couldn't stand on your toes for long. How do heelless boots work?

I said I cannot stand still on my feet for long. The heels basically force me to walk or stand on my toes if I'm standing at all: the leather part that goes over the top of my foot essentially starts around my ankles and ends just short of my toes, forcing my feet to remain at an angle. I tend to move about more than stand in one place, which makes balancing a lot easier, as I can shift my weight around as needed. Yes, it gets stressful, but it is almost simple to walk for a few minutes vs standing in place - I usually do corner time with my hands behind my back, but not in an even worse position as you described in your thread.
I've even tried just standing in the corner wearing the heels a while back. I set out to do either five or ten minutes, can't really recall - and managed just a little over two, legs shaking, and very uncomfortable in general. I can change the angle of my legs a little while wearing them, and with legs a little spread it is a tad easier to not give up too... But in the end, they're made from very rigid leather, and I simply can't put my feet down normally, and trying to lower my soles just makes the leather dig further into my skin. Easy when you can take your weight of, not so if I have to keep standing still.
Alas, walking is okay.
