Finally got around to trying this one. Got myself a bar of soap, put it in warm water, and promptly forgot about it for 4 hours. I do think it really has to be warm water though, because I didn't really notice it that much. I think you might have dissolved all that yummy flavour away! It’s not supposed to be messy or completely destroy your bar of soap either! Ideally you use warm water which stays warm and it’s just soft enough for your teeth to sink in a little bit. That’s the sweet (evil) spot. Good to know the outcome of your leave it for 4 hours experiment for future bratting purposes though :p
