"Dinosaurs... on a space ship"
Haha, Very nice. |
For the last two months, I've been putting together an epic Doctor Who project:
Celebrate, Regenerate is a fan-created non-profit book which will celebrate the last 50 years of Doctor Who! However, there is currently no content. So we need you! Our aim is to follow in the footsteps of the Doctor Who Magazine '200 Golden Moments' special. Except this book will be written entirely by as many fans of the show as possible. Everybody is invited to write for us, whether you're 10 or 100! Be part of Doctor Who's 50th! We want you to choose a story / various stories and review it / them. You can analyse certain elements or review the story as a whole. We only ask that you keep your reviews / articles between 300 and 500 words (max.), and we want positive attitudes. Celebrate your favourite stories! The idea is to end up with every story being celebrated in some way. I just thought I may as well let everyone here know in case anyone's interested in helping out. There are more details on the website/blog, linked just below this, and I hope everyone enjoys Asylum of the Daleks tomorrow! :D http://celebrateregenerate.weebly.com/ |
well i enjoyed that episode and it was good how they used it to remove the daleks from the series for a while.

Awh I forgot how much I loved Doctor Who. And Amy and Rory. And bowties.
Anyone else think Oswin might be the next companion (till the end obviously)? (Sorry if I'm being stupid and you've all seen spoilers saying otherwise/it didn't cross anyone's minds) |
That episode was awesome!!! I felt really sad in 'pond life' when Amy and Rory split up I'm glad they're back together now :)
I <3 Amy! I think (having not done any research which I normally do) that Oswin will somehow become a 'key' dalek, either she becomes human because her mother and her 'get together' and cry, this will add love and subtract anger like Craig Owens did (sort of) or Oswin will turn bad and kill a companion then the doctor will destroy Oswin, the floor in both these theories is that Oswin died when the asylum exploded, so my final theory is that Oswin will become like dalek sec and fly through the time vortex and into the TARDIS where the doctor will have to decide wether she is safe, this would mean she is either killed or becomes a companion! Funny web article: http://www.securityblogs.co.uk/posts...een-a-blogger/ |
I have recently started watching doctor who three weeks ago. I am kinda sad that I am now getting to the point I have to wait a week in between episodes...
|
Never liked Matt Smith, though I still watch it because I am a Dr Who fan, I wish David Tennant was back v__v
|
I thought the same about Matt Smith when he first took over the role as Doctor, because David Tennant was so amazing. But it turns out Matt Smith is incredible too so it's all good! Besides, I spend most of my time gawping at Karen Gillan anyway ;D
|
Matt's amazing, if you ask me, 10x better than Tennant in terms of acting. Though both of them have had hit-and-miss writing.
|
The show is ok. Not in my favorite, though.
|
I feel I should resuscitate this thread in time for the 50th anniversary special next week. Who's excited?:D

FINALLY #10 will be back! Or maybe it will be Lefty? It COULD be Lefty, because Rose will be there too... Hrmmmmm.... |
Yeah I can't wait for it. What date does it come out?
John Hurt look like he's gonna be amazing. The Doctor going to war and all that. Have any of you seen the mini webisode which shows how the doctor became John Hurt and joined the Time War? |
I'm going to SF on Saturday to see the world wide premier. It's gonna be awesome!!! I might dress as the 11th.
