Thanks ScienceGal!
I am done for now, but I note for reference of all that we need 14 characters, of which one is "A" as we learn the others, it may be possible to figure out what the #8 character, symbol, or portrait is. |
For Clue 6, it might help to think about the location.
For Clue 8, this answer represents the image. |
Ok I'll make a guess combining previous guesses and mine
1)IBERIAN (I,B,N) 2)(?,?) 3)LAMB (A,B) 4)RIGHT(R) 5)MAZE (A) 6)MASAYAPARK (A,R) (in Nicaragua) 7)BROTHER (B,R) (the printer in the image belongs to this brand from reverse image search) 8)% (modulus used to commonly check for primes in programming.. could also be an ! for factorial as it is more likely usable for movie title) |

Excellent guesses. Clues 5 and 7 are correct. You are on the right track for 1, 6, and 8 as well. A hint for clue 2: the arrow implies something about 1 of the images, not both. But the answer you are looking for is something that fits all 3. |
A) FLOWER
B) SUN C) picture frame??? D) HANNIBAL (mads mikkelsen) E) heart?? |

You are close on B, and on the right track for D. However, none of those are correct. |
I was wondering last night just though of it too late.
#8 is apostrophe In x' the ' means "prime" and those are all prime numbers, as we all knew. So a movie title, 12 characters (might be spaces as well?) probably ending in 's AND Might A in nina's list be GARDEN? |
C could be BLACK PORTRAIT (or Blank)
I like Marv's TICKS for 4 Bit far fetched but 6 could be SUBDUCTION (volcanos evolve in subduction zones) For A Garden I don't think the right picture helps For 8 and primes I like Marv's apostrophe idea. Also maybe Infinite symbol (any movies with infinite or infinity in title?) or even just the number 1 (1 divisor) |
Lots of good guesses floating around. If someone would like to compile a list, I would be happy to check it.
|
Not ready for list yet, just wanna add a suggestion for
1 EXTINCT (the Iberian Wolf is extinct from Catalonia) |
1) extinct (e,x,t)
2) woman 3) 4) ticks (t) 5) maze (a) 6) volcanopark (o,r) 7) brother (b,r) 8) ' (apostrophe) A) garden B) C) black portrait D) E) |

You can guess up to once an hour, even if I don't respond right away. I won't penalize you for my slowness :p I will check each one as long as an hour has passed. |
-runs in-
Ok, I lock myself in for two puzzles and must expose myself to five strangers on Omegle each day (not my idea) Anyway, I’m pretty sure the movie is Pan’s Labyrinth 1 is probably Spanish or something similar I think 2 is witch but could be way off One of the characters is a faun I think Problem is, I’ve never seen the movie so I have no clue what the memorable scene would be nor the inspiration behind it. Hope this helps, gotta go -ninja smoke and vanish- |
In the pursuit of warm water, a quick (not full) list:
First of all scguycola is probably right about PAN'S LABYRINTH and this makes things much easier 1. SPANISH [S,P,H]... was in front of our eyes, thanks scguycola! 2. FAIRY [I,Y] 3. 4. LISTS [L] (Marv suggested it somewhere, could give the L) 5. MAZE [A] 6. 7. BROTHER [B,R] 8. apostrophe ['] A. B. C. BLACK PAINTING (think this is it. If not, try Blank painting/portrait) D. E. I'll try to fill it with some guesses in a while |
