Being captured

Deschut and I have both been members on getDare for a long time. While we have been aware of each other for many years, we haven't really connected on a personal level until recently.
It has been almost two months since we added each other on getDare. We have talked pretty much every day since. About 10 days after his first message, Deschut shared his shock that I hadn't yet found a Dom. We both admitted that we were way too busy and that it probably wasn't a good idea for us to chat about whether we were compatible at this time.
However, over the course of the last two months, we have found the time to talk throughout our day, even though between the two of us we have taken 7 flights, and spent 5 weeks away from our homes. We also both have been working crazy work hours, and I have had an insane social schedule. Despite all of that, we have shared morning and bedtime (virtual) cuddles almost everyday. We spent hours talking and have learned a lot about each other - for example, he knows that I don't consider beans to be food and I have learned that he likes really boring TV shows and movies
Our connection has come really easily. He makes me feel safe and that isn't something that happens easily for me. I feel like I can talk to him about anything and I know he will be there to reassure me when I am feeling inadequate.
Things have just felt so comfortable and so one day he just blurted out that he wanted me to be his. My heart fluttered and even though I knew that we had been leaning in this direction, it took me by surprise. I didn't need long to think about it and I said yes.
I am honored and flattered that he chose me.
Not a lot has changed since the day that he asked me to be his. We don't have a million rules or 100 instructions in a day. We are just going slow. One day at a time, at whatever pace feels right to us. This feels right.
We did implement a few rules that started today and it feels wonderful.
I am so excited to see where this journey leads us.
To my Dommy: Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for making me feel safe and comfortable every day that we have been together. I promise to be such a good subby for you and make you proud. *cuddles*
