Day 1 of my random babble!
I figured since I can not think of anything better to talk about I will just do a daily, maybe twice a day blog of my thoughts. I mean that is what it is suppose to be about right?
Anyways, first off thank you to everyone that posted on my first entry. I feel welcomed.
I have noticed over my life I have this habit of micro-managing. I have noticed that I have started to do it on gD as well and don't want to become hated by mods for doing it. So if any mods could enlighten me on their views on it that would be grand. I guess this is just me trying to be helpful, but I will quit doing it.
I am also thinking of requesting a name change to stop the confusing some people have with my name but then again I don't really want to go to my "normal" online username. Not due to people possibly finding out but for some reason I think I should keep this account separate from the rest of my online life. So, I guess I need to think of a new username to use.

What do you mean by micromanaging on here?

I didn't think I could ask for one, more of a random thought.
By micromanaging I mean like posting in threads pointing out where people have broken rules, or in chat for example much earlier someone requested pornographic pictures and I informed them that requesting those sort of pictures is against the gD rules.Posted 01-04-2011 at 11:10 PM by lilysmaster

Oh, backseat modding. Yeah, you are encouraged to report such issues rather than attempt to deal with them yourself.

I do it as a friendly reminder not as a I am better than you, you have to listen to me. I have been trying to tone it down though v.v I hate reporting and making mods work... Some people report senseless things and I don't want to be seen as on of those people.

I understand the intentions but in most things that need attention, something needs moving or deleting and that requires a mod anyway.

Personally I get a little irritated at people who blog excessively, it pushes other blogs off the frontpage and its usually done for the sake of being able to rather than the person having something interesting to say.
I know you want to become known on here but I dont think trying to bump your forum post/blog post count is the way to do it.
Apologies if I read into that wrong.
I don't go in chat these days, but whenever I do log into gD I notice that you are usually in the chat listing. Keep doing that and people will recognise you.
Trust me when I say you don't want to become known as the person who is trying too hard to get attention.
