I am so very proud of my son "C." I am going to share the reasons why. Yes, some of us on here do have kids. Well, "C," is a very special kind of kid. See, he was born without a left arm and hand. His arm never fully develop as his hand never did too. The doctors and specialist say it never pulled away from the stomach wall. My ex-wife at the time, just keep crying and saying, I couldn't give you a perfect baby. I looked at her and said, he is a perfect baby in my eyes. Yes, we did cry and worry until all the doctors did all the test on "C" and making sure he was 100% in good health.
She was in that state of questioning God. She keep saying, no more kids. I told her, it will be okay and you will change your mind later on down the road. It really torn her up and she had to get help to get over it.
Well, back to sharing about "C," and what he has had to overcome in his seventeen years. He, would never give up or quite in his mind. Because, he was normal like everyone else. At age three, he faced the first experience of how mean other kids can be to him. We were at the park and this little girl, ask him. What happened to your other arm and hand. ,"C," told her that God has it in heaven, because he is special. The little girl, told him that he was ugly. Well, he came running with tears running down his face. That little face with a broken heart and he couldn't understand why would she tell him that. I told him, that she don't understand and that is not her fault.
The next challenge came in how he wanted to climb on the monkey bars, you needed two hands to go across them. Well, I told him that you won't be able to do it, but let's try it. He did do it as I held him and he moved his right hand and then that small part as his left arm. He just smiled and light up. People who were around, told him good job. At age five he learned how to tie his shoes with one hand. Yes, I am serious in how he wanted to do it like the other kids. At age twelve, he faced another challenge. He was getting his lunch tray with his hand and then his food spilled all over him. "C " was devastating by what happened and my ex had to go and get him at school. "C ," was really upset and it hurt him on the inside.
"C," has played soccer since an early age and he is very good at it. He has his own horse, in which he take care of and does a good job at it. He has guns, since he loves to go hunting. He plays trumpet in band and is in the special singing group. He has come a long ways in his life. His prom was so very special in how he looked so beautiful in his white tuxedo with tails. His date worn his favorite color of blue and their white limousine.
My son, is so very special. He has overcome so very much in his life. That is why, just seeing him and his date really made his mother and me so very proud of him.
I just wanted to shared that private side in my life. Money, cannot protect you or save you as people think it can. Believe me, from living a good life and the challenges in our life, it is hard at times.

Yeah I was debating on the comment for a while wasn't sure if it was too far...
But then I realized this is the internet and as far as you know I'm a dog raised in a laboratory and trained to be mean on the internet. (Which I will neither confirm nor deny)
