Going public in secret

Felt like writing, so here's some writing; today's topic, hidden public!

"Hidden Public" is the term for the kink that involves doing very naughty sexy stuff in a public setting, but in such a way that no one but you (and potential confidants) are aware it is happening. It treads on the thin line between public indecency, and an ordinary weekend outing.

Examples include but aren't limited to:

• Having sex toys inserted underneath clothing
• Wearing bodywriting
• Wearing very sneaky bondage

This kink of mine is one of the more recent ones to which I have been "awoken". I've been a great fan of bondage for almost as long as I've used porn, and at some point throughout the many years, I discovered occasional pictures of girls using/wearing vibrators or rope harnesses underneath their clothes in a public setting. This quickly became one of my favorites, and I've been hooked on the concept ever since.

I'm not actually sure what it is about it that makes it so intriguing and hot, but here's some thoughts on the matter that may be in the right direction:

The "Naughtiness":
Doing anything sex-related in public is by and large frowned upon, and I'm not generally one to disagree on that point. Doing something that you're not allowed to do, but which doesn't hurt anyone, and which just slightly bends the rules, that is oh so exciting. Sneaking into rooms that you weren't allowed to as a kid, stealing candy from the hiding place your parents don't want you to know about, these are all very exciting because of the thrill of doing something fun, that people don't want you to. I think hidden public taps into that childish naughtiness, and makes it rather exciting, particularly since there's few other situations like it in our adult lives where we can sorta break the rules safely, without really getting into trouble. No one really minds if you steal from the cookie jar if you're all grown up.

The Sexy Secret:
Using a sex toy is hot and feels good, as it's supposed to. Being able to do so in public simply means more opportunities to do it. And best of all, its your little secret, and yours alone. And who doesn't love keeping a fun secret? It's exciting to be stimulated in such an intimate and private way, in any locale you wish, even with people surrounding you and going about your business, the knowledge that they are oblivious to your fun is itself, fun. This one is harder to explain, and strikes closer to the core of the kink. If you like it, you like it.

The Restriction:
Control, the manipulation and transfer of it, is my and many others' primary kink. There's something deeply kinky and sexual about letting someone else decide for,
and take advantage of you, and vice versa (if you happen to be a switch like me). Hidden public provides a unique avenue to this primary kink that I think goes largely unappreciated. If you're doing something secretly in public, you're effectively being restrained, not by a dom, nor even by yourself, but by the situation in which you're placed. The very condition of being in public means you cannot easily escape your predicament. You can't remove the vibrator, you're in the middle of a mall. You can't wash off the permanent marker that marks you as the submissive you are, you're not at home. There's nothing tying you down, no one forcing your hand, yet you don't have a choice, unless you're a hardcore exhibitionist on top, in which case you're likely more into true public anyway. That is a fascinating thrill like no other!

Hidden public is great. It's something you have to be careful with, but when done right, I believe it can be one of the most entertaining ways to have some relatively easy kinky fun.
