Is anyone else having this problem?

It seems every time I get on GetDare lately I am being redirected to another site. I have been sent to Walmart.com, Exxon Mobile Credit Card, and now an online casino. It could be I picked up some adware but it only is happening at GetDare. I have always gotten those Pogo and PS III ads but they gave you a skip this ad, these do not give me that option. If it is supposed to be happening I find it really annoying.

though it was how site was paid for. Advertising upon it for you can skip it

Yup - it should always come up (top right hand corner) with a 'skip' button. It is to help pay for the site!

Although I also got the Casino ad yesterday and it does seem to have downloaded something on my PC automatically... could be wrong but sudden deterioration in speed in logging off and on!

If you don't see a "skip" button along with the advertising it is important you copy the URL that you are sent to down and PM it to me. This is caused by advertisers abusing the terms of our advertising contract. If you send me the URL I can take the AD out of rotation and have the advertiser removed from the AD service.

I was having this problem a month ago and had to remove all ads for a while I angrily tracked down the problem.

Oh yea. There was a time when it just didn't work. There was the orange bar, but no "skip" button. It frustrated me to no end, cos no matter what, it kept redirecting. I couldn't press back or anything, as it just repeated the action.

I just get the commercial page, isnt it the one mentioned? Of course the right top "skip this add" solves it.

Again. If the advertisements are not working properly for you the best thing you can do is PM me the exact URL the ad displays along with a short description of the ad and problem.

Ads do not show for all users. Users are targeted by geographical location.

Also, if you can't escape an ad frame you can always escape it by revisiting the forums. Once an ad displays a cookie is set that causes it not to pop up again for 12 hours.

This post belongs in the getdare.com section. Moving it.

The amazing thing about the ad is the whole fact about if ytou;ve been here a long time how uch more their is. I remeber there was no ads at all, of course then and ad might of poped up once a week if you were unlucky then a little more but nothing much, now its every day. Of course thats how we have to pay for a growing site like this, the good thing is the ads never get boring so its ok.

Is still waiting to see one of these adds that everone is raving about. Starts to wonder if the huge url list he slamed into his add blocking file ages ago has nuked them without me even realising they ever existed. :p
