This is really a broad question because it depends on a lot of things. Consider just a few of the real potential dangers; many life threatening bacteria, parasites and toxic chemicals are a few to mention.

It depends on many things and circumstances but as a general safe rule; don’t do it. Really what is the point of risking making yourself ill just to fulfill the dare of some whim and fancy? I am glad that you are actually questioning some of the tasks on the dare. If people can’t come up with anything more imaginative, then that suggests that they have also put no thought or care into your safety. If other people won’t respect your basic health and wellbeing, then please consider it yourself.

I agree - this is really not safe at all. Coliform bacteria from faecal matter will make you very ill indeed, even if the toilet looks clean.
