A round robin style story?

I'm kind of considering starting a story that members would take turns telling. Let's say I post the intro, then someone else would claim the next part by saying that they'll write it, and so on. Each writer would get a time limit so the story doesn't just stop due to someone either taking too long or dropping it.

Has this been done before on this site to anyone's knowledge? And more importantly, would there be enough interest among the membership to pull it off?

It has been done. You can try again, but eventually projects like this die down, usually.

I was sent an in depth PM about it. It's still something I'll think about trying, even just to see how long it lasts.
