footballdare

This is an idea based around the traditional Pub quiz. Basically, in a minute I will ask you a question, you will answer it, the first one to answer correctly will win the right to post the next question, and will give any incorrect answerers a dare, as well as a dare to the asker if the correct answer comes within two hours of the question being asked.

Obviously you could use google, but please don't as it is cheating, and completely ruins the object.

So question one, which British Isle does the following car sticker represent?

Is it Great Britain Guernsey?

Guernsey it is indeed, so Marlow, you get the next question, and dare the incorrect answerers.

footballdare
12-22-2010, 12:07 PM
Since Marlow hasn't replied, I'll set the dare. All those who got it wrong must give themselves a shoulder (or near to shoulder) wedgie, and leave it in for 5 minutes.

So Question 2, what animal has the collective known of 'a murder' (eg a brood of hens, a litter of puppies, a murder of ???????)

viviorunitia

viviorunitia
12-22-2010, 01:28 PM

footballdare

viviorunitia

viviorunitia

bjbarnes
12-26-2010, 04:30 PM
Im gonna take another shot at it, I know its not genesis or exidus and the rest of the old testament I havent read, but the shortest one I remember from the new testament I think was 2nd John????

wowo2
12-26-2010, 04:44 PM
It's Obadiah :) I'm a fanatic I guess

viviorunitia
12-26-2010, 05:08 PM
2nd john is one of the shortest books in the bible but it is in the new testament not the old testament. Obadiah on the other hand is the correct answer. Well done wowo

Erm, I'm going to go back a question. I thought Clemenceau was the French president during the Treaty of Versailles?

One of my favourite quotes from history is from Clemenceau during Versailles. He said "Wilson bores me with his fourteen points. Even the good Lord contented Himself with only ten commandments."

One of my favourite quotes from history is from Clemenceau during Versailles. He said "Wilson bores me with his fourteen points. Even the good Lord contented Himself with only ten commandments."

I would have said Clemenceau in answer to that question too but unless anyone proves it was him then I will carry on with this thread as normal.

The dare to be completed is to spend an entire day with your flies undone. During this day you must spend at least one hour in a public setting.
