View Full Version : Possible Downtime Monday

The getDare forums will be going down for an upgrade Monday (October 16th). The downtime will likely be between 1 to 2 hours. This time will be used to add features and do template updates.

Depending on a variety of issues the downtime may be moved later into the week.

The biggest change will be a user infraction system that lets moderators more easily give out probation for users breaking rules. I will prompt all staff on the changes later in the week after the update and my own internal testing.

By the way depp that thing that says getdare on the side takes up half my screen so I always have to scrool right, to you mind fixing it?

Yea I thoguht so It says getdare in orange, It might go sideways on your com but on mine its going straight so I always have to scroll right when I reload a page.

Hmmm. Any chance you could post a screen shot. What browser / version are you using. If I know I can fix it. :-D

Well my computers really old so I don't know much about it, also I don't think I can give you a scrren shot, dunno how. It's basicaly lick this

I don't mind scrolling I've gotten used to it but if I didn't that would be cool.Also when I click on it it brings me to the homepage.

When I do the update soon we will see if it gets fixed. If not, I'll work with you on this.

It looks like the update will not be Monday. I'm too busy to really spend time on upgrades at the moment.
