getDare "Elite" members area

I've been thinking of creating a special section of the forums only visible to those invited by their peers to some sort of "elite" truth or dare group. It would be a private section of the forums that would be for long time users of the site to play. A place where they could be a bit more open and not worry. A slightly less public space.

If you like the idea or want to be in charge of inviting users to this group reply. I would like to hear what you all think. How about requiring longtime users to play a special game of TOD to gain access to it?

So, it seems like the idea is popular. I'll set it up here soon. In the meantime, lets all think of some initination truth or dare tasks for this special "invite only" area.

Ok, i've made you the admin of a group called "getDare Elite Members". You will be in total control of membership. Memebrs who you add will be able to see a special forum just above where the archive forum is now.

To add a member just look in the lower left corner. There is a form to fill out that adds people.

Looks like the group is off to a good start. I was worried it might be a little slow but already it is filling up with interesting things.

My next big task is an entire site redesign and the addition of truth questions. With this I want to add a mini "random dare" and "random truth" that people can intigrate into their MySpace, Blog, or website.

In the meantime I would encourage you to put a "getDare.com" link in the signature of any other forums you visit, blog, MySpace or whatever.

Up untill now I've done very little promotion for the site. We got a lot of eyes on us when we were featured on "ebaumsworld". I plan on doing larger future promotions after the redesign. Getting people to the site is important to me. I run this site at a loss money wise. More people = more ad traffic = I break even = more getDare stuff. :-) hehe

I do have a big picture in my mind. Im just so darn busy. :-D

Maybe a little banner or something to add to myspace and that would be cool. Just a little button or something, people tend to blow links off sometimes. Just a thought.

If your talking about the special members area... only one user has power to add and remove users and it's "chaingangistheclick"

If your talking about a signature it's in your profile settings at the bottom of the page (you also have check the "Attach signature" box as well)...
