Here's a tip about the itching: You can use Aveeno moisturizing lotion (or something similar) preferably unscented. This lotion is used usually for people who have dry skin or itchy skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, etc. I've used this for a few years & it works great, at least for me.

Aveeno moisturing lotion helps with psoriasis? I'll have to try it, I have spots from head to toe....lately I've been using Lubriderm with Sea Kelp extract, though. That works great to help with the itching of shaving to.

And to reply to the main question of the topic, I try to keep everything shaved, though sometimes I do slack off a bit. No matter what though, it is at least trimmed.

As far as waxing goes, it doesnt hurt much if you get it done. if you do it yourself it may be painful before you get the hang of it, and its really messy.

use shower gel instead of soap and if you're already using shower gel to shave with, try shaving in the direction of hair growth instead of against it.

Don't skim on the cost and you should have a good shave. Put some lotion on after you've shaved to help control ingrown hair. Don't rush...its worth it!
