View Full Version : LIVE Werewolf Interactive Chat Game: Sunday October 28th, 3:00 PM EDT

Time: 8:00 GMT
Participants- 7 to 14 (first come first play)
Place: Scene Chat Room
I will be moderating the game.
7 player set-up
4 villagers
1 seer
2 werewolves
I'll add a werewolf for every two additional town.
Basic rules:
The game alternates between day and night phases.
During the day, everyone can talk and vote for who they think is a werewolf.
The person that has the most votes at the end of the day is lynched.
At night, werewolves kill one person.
Villagers win if the werewolf dies. Werewolf wins if everyone else dies, or nothing can prevent this.
Every night the WW's will whisper me one persom to kill.
Every night the seer gets to ask for the identify of one player.
WW are allowed to whisper each other at night.

it's a pretty easy game to catch on with
so basically day time will last two minutes where everyone just talks then everyone has the opportunity to vote someone to die you'll need a majority of living to vote someone to death.
at night the Werewolf(s) will vote on a town's person to die.

I still don't really understand the game, but I will try to be there and it will get clear then I think.
Wait... I said that too fast because I have my own event then and it's too late for me. :(

Thanks a bunch to everyone that participated! We had an absolute-last-second Villager victory, and I had a blast hosting. It was such fun watching all the finger-pointing and blame-shifting. :3

After hearing how this game went, I feel obligated to share a tiny Werewolf strategy tidbit with y'all.
No lynches are always bad for town unless you're in a situation where a single mislynch would win the game for the Wolves. Even a randomly-chosen lynch is better than a no lynch in almost every situation.
When you no lynch, you're replacing a town-chosen kill with a Wolf-chosen kill. The town-chosen kill has at least a chance of hitting a Wolf. The Wolf-chosen kill doesn't. You're losing out on opportunities to kill Wolves when you no lynch.
The only exception is when the total number of players remaining equals the number of wolves, doubled, plus 2 (e.g. 6 players/2 wolves, or 4 players/1 wolf, etc). In this case, a mislynch would end the game, so it's better to no lynch and make your decision in the next day phase when you have less people remaining to choose from. This situation is called Mislynch-and-Lose (MyLo).
Also, I'm very proud of my subby for doing such a good hosting job. ^.^

KittenLicks has invited me to host the next game. It will be at the same time as usual, on Sunday October 21, at 3 PM EDT.
I'm going to be trying something a bit different. I made a list of possible roles that could be in the game, but you won't know which roles actually are in the game. So when there's a guy claiming to be a certain role...that role might not actually be in the game.
