I know you've added loads of pretty new icons to the site (depp) but I wondered if we could have another... a headdesk-type icon. Or a face-palm icon. Please?

Weather isn't a main topic of conversation and can't really be used often.
Like, today it was :sun:.
It'd be just as simple to say the weather was nice.
Smilies are meant to get across feeling you can't really do with text alone.

To add something new. There's already a rainbow so why not add more?

I'd use weather icons WAY more than that silly face palm face. I never used that face once.

As I said before, all of the icons we have are generalised. They can be used in almost any conversation. (Oh, and the rainbow is a thread-title icon only.) Weather-related icons are unneccessary, even more so on a Truth or Dare website :facepalm: (Sometimes that facepalm comes in real handy.)

What do you mean why? You're the only person who talks about weather, and you don't need icons to accompany that...

Don't say "we have a rainbow" because that's not valid. That's a thread-title based icon only, and it's probably there because it's colourful and quite generic.

What's Bella's "gay marriage" thread got to do with anything? You really are stretching for a point there. I've had no involvement with Bella's thread so why you've even brought that up is beyond me.

But, if you want a reason ... it's related to sexuality, which in turn makes a difference on this site full of straight/bi/gay/lesbian/curious people. Also, there is a difference between a *thread* and a *set of weather icons* :facepalm:

They wouldn't hurt anyone but there's only one member who'd use them. So, really, they are useless. And before you say it ... yes, not many people use :facepalm: but it's still a general icon which could be used in any discussion, whereas a weather-only icon is limited.

Sorry but your point makes no sense to me.
