I originally wrote this on another, wedgie-based, site. This was written there roughly two years ago. It doesn't involve TorD, nor does it truly involve masters/servants, but it's captivating & some stuff can be part of/used as dares.

So Without Further Ado; THE RIVER

Prologue

He couldn't, he wouldn't. Not never, not ever. He would never stop running. No stopping. Not now, not ever, not never. Not with them chasing him. He had his revenge. "This is it. This is what living is all about." He thought to himself. Running, running. Losing breath but gaining, gaining. He turned his head to look for them, and there they were a long distance behind him. He knew where he was going. He was heading toward the river. Nobody goes to the river late at night.

He kept running, running, running on the cold railroad tracks. It was late summer, though, and the night was still warm. He was approaching the bridge. It was about a football-field length away. But he had slowed and his pursuers had closed in on him. Also, in the distance, he could see a light far on the other side of the bridge. He ran that distance and was at the start of the bridge. The teens who chased him were twenty, maybe thirty feet away.

The train bridge spanned the Yellow River near the small town of Hickory. It was twenty feet above the water, which was about fifteen feet deep. The bridge was still frequented by trains, but it will be torn down one day.

He stopped at the start of the bridge. He needed to cross, he knew it. He could die otherwise. Gently, he tested the first plank suspended above the ground. It gave way. He tested the second one and it could hold him. He made sure to keep one foot on a rail, just in case. He smoothly, cautiously made his way across the bridge. The boys who were chasing him had stopped, for they didn't want to risk crossing the bridge. They started, instead throwing rocks at him. One rock hit him and bounced onto the plank in front of him and the plank cracked and tumbled into the river. He didn't dare go any farther. He couldn't go the other way though, so he decided to continue, risking his life as he was half way across the bridge.

But he saw the light again on the other side of the bridge. This time it was brighter, closer. It was accompanied by a whistle. The yells of the tormentors (or tormented, thanks to him) confirmed his worst fears.

"TRAIN!!" The boys ran off into the night, leaving their victim and victor in the middle of the bridge to be run over and killed.

He couldn't die to a train.

The train's brakes squealed, but the train was too close. It was going to run over him, unless he acted swiftly.

Quickly thinking, the boy jumped. He hoped to grab onto a piece of wood or something connected to the bridge as he fell, but he couldn't.

He fell into the water with a roaring splash and the night was calm for a second. Under the water, he was calm, cool, and collected. It was cold, spring-fed water, though.

He had misjudged the intensity of the current, though, and as soon as he could think, the river was washing him down. He struggled to try and get up to the surface to breathe, but he couldn't. His underwear had been caught under a heavy rock.

He struggled and struggled, but the current was pushing him down, worsening the wedgie. If he could only get this undone, he could swim to the surface and breathe. But he couldn't. There wasn't enough time. His hands gave way to exhaustion and he passed out on the bottom of the Yellow River.

Just The First Day of School

Ben woke up, breathing heavily and drenched in a cold sweat. He had that dream before. Many times before. He didn't know what it all meant, though. Could it be symbolic? Could the river be a cleansing? Or might it be a warning, an omen of something that might occur? Of course, he recalled a feeling that he had his revenge. What sort of revenge? Who did he get revenge for? He doesn't even want revenge on anybody for anything. This dream doesn't make sense. But it must be important or else he wouldn't be dreaming it.

He had dreamt the same dream for the past month. Running down the railroad tracks, jumping off the bridge, getting stuck (sometimes by his underwear, other times by his foot), and drowning to death. But none of it made sense to him. Did the railroad tracks symbolize anything? Maybe a journey? Or something outdated? He didn't know. He couldn't think about it anymore. It was just confusing him. Of course, if he can remember it so vividly, maybe he needs to be thinking about it.

Ben sat off the edge of his bed and rubbed his eyes. Four in the morning. How great. He rubbed his eyes and yawned. He couldn't go back to sleep. It was futile even trying. He had tried many times over the past month, but it never worked for him. He stood up and walked into the kitchen. 'This new house is nice, but it's just not the same as our old house. Nothing is the same here in Hickory.' Thought Ben. 'I know we've been here for a year and a half now, but I miss Springfield.'

Ben set the coffee machine and it started percolating. He washed his face as the machine made a nice pot of coffee, which he poured into a mug. Ben sat down and continued thinking about his dream. It annoyed him that he couldn't figure out anything about it. 'Whatever. School's going to start in a week and I can't keep waking up at 4 in the morning like this.' Ben thought to himself as he sipped his coffee again.

One Week Later

It was the first day of school. The first day of high school, in fact, for Ben. He was a freshman at the relatively small Hickory High. He rode the bus to school. The bus was full, but there were only about ten buses for all of the school. On the bus, he tripped as he got on. He only recognized one friend from middle school. Everybody else laughed. One guy in particular, George, dubbed Ben "Trippy".

Ben sat next to his friend, Kyle, red-faced. They started talking about the summer. After a few minutes, Kyle gestured toward Ben's feet, where George's friend, Tyler had tied Ben's shoes together around the leg of the seat. Ben bent down to undo the knot and his briefs were yanked up in the air. It was a wedgie. He looked to his left and he saw George and Tyler laughing across the aisle. He looked at Kyle to learn that he was the one doing the wedgieing.

"Kyle?" He asked.
"Shut up." Kyle briefly responded.
"Why? Why are you doing this to me? I thought we were friends."
"We are, I just want to be popular."
"Why? Shouldn't having friends that care about you be enough? Why would you need to be popular."
"Just shut up and bear it. We'll talk during lunch."

Ben sighed. He couldn't change anything. He just finished undoing his shoelaces and tying them back before he sat up and gave Kyle an evil look.

Just the first day of school.

Sorry is Not Enough

Ben walked into the cafeteria. Nothing had happened to him. He did see Tyler and George in the hallway and was called "Trippy" and was reminded of his wedgie, but nothing happened to him. He just continued to Spanish class quickly. But now he came in the cafeteria. Everyone had a free hour to do whatever they wanted at noon. Most kids went to the cafeteria to eat lunch. Ben had agreed to meet Kyle in the cafeteria. Now, he had his tray of food and was looking for Kyle. He saw Kyle waving from a table across the room.

Ben walked over to Kyle's table.

"Dude, why did you wedgie me today on the bus?"

"Look, Ben." Kyle told Ben like an old friend, telling Ben some facts of life. "The bullies are popular. And you either beat them or join them. Or, honestly, get beaten by them or join them. And, well, honestly, us freshmen are usually perfect targets. But I don't want to be a target. I don't want to be bullied."

"So you bully?" Ben responded confrontationally. "You don't want to get bullied, eh? Do you think anybody else wants to get bullied either?"

"Dude, I know nobody wants to be bullied, but it's a fact of life. It's inevitable. You're either a bully or you're bullied."

Ben started to respond, but Kyle quickly silenced him. Tyler and George were passing by, so Kyle quickly gave Ben a wedgie. Tyler and George turned to look after hearing Ben's surprised yelp. The two seniors started laughing. Ben turned his face down, humiliated. Kyle then grabbed Ben's slice of pizza and tossed it down the underwear.

The friction of the underwear, the slimy cheese and sauce, and the crust all affecting Ben's butt, he simply gave up. He didn't cry, he just sort of broke. He gave up any dignity he could've had. He just took it. Kyle stood up and walked away with Tyler and George. Ben sat on his own slice of pizza and finished the rest of his meal, depressed. No one dare sat near him and he ate alone in silence.

Ben threw his trash in a trash can and walked into the bathroom. He closed the stall door and cried a bit. He then sighed and pulled out the cold, gross pizza and threw it in the toilet and flushed it. He sighed again and opened the door, only to see Tyler, George, and Kyle standing there, waiting for him.

Before he could react to their presence, Tyler and Kyle immediately grabbed Ben by the arms and dragged him out of the stall. "You're very smart, Kyle" George told his new hit-man, "I like you."

Anxious to respond, Kyle quickly replied "Yes, thank you, sir." He calmed back down and looked embarrassed at his brown-nosing. Tyler and Ben chuckled, but when Tyler heard Ben, he gave his arm a quick jerk.

"You like comedy?" George asked Ben.
"Yes, I guess so-"
"Do you know something that's funny?"
"What?"
"A Swirly."

Kyle and Tyler started to take Ben toward the stall.
"Hold on there, now, gentlemen." George halted the boys. "We're in a drought, you know. And it'd be a shame to waste a precious gallon of water just on a simple practical joke. You know what they say, boys: Save a gallon, share a flush."

Kyle and Tyler smiled maliciously. George went into the stall and shut the door. Tyler gave Ben a smart wedgie to hold him in place. From outside the stall, you could hear the sounds of George struggling to take a dump. After a few minutes, George came back out. He then told Tyler to do the same and Kyle followed Tyler.

"Friends give friends good swirlies." Tyler said.

Now it was just Kyle and Ben. The two seniors walked off to the side and watched while leaning against the bathroom wall. Kyle escorted Ben to the toilet and forced him on his knees. Before he started the swirly, Kyle leaned down to the dejected boy and whispered in his ear: "I'm sorry."

Then Kyle started the swirly. Just like that, pushed his 'friend's' head into the poop and pee filled toilet and flushed.

And as Ben's head suffered the poor fate of being flushed in a used toilet, an aggressive thought passed through his mind: "Sorry is not enough".
