May 2018 Writing Competition!!!

I have decided that I want to start a writing competition. Each month, there will be a new topic and to enter, you need to follow the rules/guidelines and post your entry in the thread.

After the deadline, we will create a poll and vote on the winner. The winner will receive entry into the Dungeon.

Theme: Summer!

Guidelines:

Post your entry in the blog or story section of getDare (which ever is more appropriate).
Post a link to your entry in this thread to officially enter.
Be creative! People are going to vote for whichever is best, and entertaining and creative ideas will most likely get the most votes.
Your entry can be a story, blog, list, poem, song etc.
Entries must be over 300 words to qualify (exception to this would be a poem which needs to be 10 lines min).

Now this is a competition i actually feel i can properly take part in. The dare ones are great but less appealing to me. However i'll jump, as best i can, to test my writing and get more involved with the site!
Hopefully i'll not take too long working on an entry and make the first deadline :)

My entry is finished, and just in time. It's a bit longer than some, but I think it is fun, and at the end it leaves a space for others to invent their own continuation according to their own desires.
