How do you add the ability for people to extend the time, and set the settings for how long the extension is and such? I set it for one hour, then it didn't give me any other options other than my gender and an image description.

I think, you can't extend yourself, but others have the button for it.
But when posting, you have an option "show more", where you can set time and amount of max. extension.
