Showing birthdays

Hi,

in many forums there is a place, whre the people are shown, whose birthday is on the current date.
I hope it would be no great effort, to install this, if some people would like to see that.

It sounds like a good idea, but really, we have too many users for that with too many multiple accts. It just wouldnt work

What we really need is a way to tell someone's gender without going into their profile. Just looking at the side under their avatar to find it.

And adding to what you said. Some people probably don't want anybody on the site knowing when their birthday is.
