I've moved the getDare forums over to a much better system. One that we can stay on for a while.

If you are having problems post about them here or PM me.

If you can't login you will have to reset your password using the link given to you on the failed login page.

If you still need help use the "Contact Us" link down at the bottom of the page and I will fix your problems. Please supply all info you possibly can (ex: username, e-mail).

It seems about 15 threads did not make it over. A small price to pay if you ask me.

All users from the previous boards will want to check out their user settings. Things like the time zone seem to have been forgotten. Also you can now get an e-mail and/or pop-up when a user PMs you! The setting has to be turned on however.

I really dont like this actually i thought the new one was gd but this is far too complicated!!! I spent about 20 minutes just logging on and now i cant even post a quick reply without having to spend 5 minutes doing it!

I cant tell where the new posts are either!

The transition for existing users will be difficult. I am not happy about this. In the long run however this will really help the site. It won't take too long to figure everything out.

Moderators now have a special area: http://www.getdare.com/bbs/modarea/
The moderation controls are now at the bottom right of threads.

It may take some time to get everything working. I have no doubt.

I've fixed the moderation problem. You should now have the controls back. Not sure if the mod area will work for you though.

As an extra note... you can now setup private messages to e-mail you and/or popup when they arrive. Use the "User CP" link at the top to configure your settings.

I have been on a forum that used vBulletin software before and I liked the forums.

Thank you for the change, it was a hassle logging in.

I know logging in is a hassle for the first time with these new forums if your an old user. In the long term however this move will best serve the site and in turn everyone.

Where can you see the reputation points? Anyway, if you are redesigning the front page, I am playing around with Macromedia Flash, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. I'm not sure if I can get the random Truth/Dare thing but I can make it pretty cool. Let me know if you are interested.

I havent been on the site much in these past few months...been kind of busy. But I do like the new forums a lot. I dont understand how it took people 20 minutes to log in, it took me 3 tops. >.>

I dont think it's the slightest bit complicated, and it looks much nicer. Two thumbs up from me, dear.
