Since the thread, things have changed drastically. Since you first posted over a year ago, what are the three best things you have learned about yourself?

Hmm...The past year had been a year of immense grow and challenges, and I’ve learned more about myself than I could have imagined, so picking three lessons I learned about myself is certainly a hard task but I think I’ve narrowed it down to the three most important.

1. I am bisexual. There is no doubt that this was the biggest thing that I learned about myself this past year. I had always struggled with identifying myself but I made huge steps towards coming out to my friends and family and without this huge step, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

2. I know what friends I am going to have for the rest of my life. The transition from high school to college was a real eye-opener. In high school, I graduated from a small class of thirty people. All thirty of us were friends, the seniors were friends with the juniors and so on. I have now realized that quality is better than quantity when it comes to friends. I only talk to two people from my high school class, one person who attends college out of state but we still keep in touch on skype and social media daily, and the other person I live with! I have met tons of people in college you I’d like to call “friends” but there is only a certain group of five or six friends who I know will be with me for the rest of my life, and I can’t wait to be the bridesmaid for one of them this spring!

3. Love is the best thing in the entire world. Just a few years ago, I never thought I’d have the ability to love someone unconditionally, but here I am. I have finally learned what love is. I’ve learned that you can see inside someone’s soul, into their heart and all of the beauty of who they are, and actually love them with their flaws and imperfections. Our flaws make us who we are, they are what makes us lovable and able to love the people with whom we choose to share our lives with. I’ve learned that love is actually feeling someone, not just physically but emotionally. It’s when a tear is rolling down their cheek and you’d do anything in the world to take that tear away. I’ve learned that love is not all about yourself, but it is the willingness to put someone else’s needs, desires, and their well-being above your own. Love has changed my life completely and I am thankful to have my girlfriend by my side each and every day. Waking up next to her is the highlight of my day, every single day of the week. She inspires me to do great things with my life, and I hope all those great things will be with her.



Do you feel the GD family played a role in bringing you to where you are today?

Without a doubt, yes. I believe that getDare and the wonderful people that I’ve met on here have certainly impacted my life and played a small role in molding me into the person I am today. Some of these were negative impacts, but for the most part getDare has had a positive influence on my life. I’ve met some awesome people on here, people that I can talk to when I need it the most. getDare is also my source of a stress relief and I enjoy writing blogs and chatting with others. And for the most part, I think getDare had a strong influence and helping me re-discover my sex life, even if it was a challenge. I also believe that getDare has helped bring my relationship with my girlfriend a little closer. I enjoy getting new, fun, and creative suggestions for Sammie and I to experiment with, and I enjoy sharing my stories with all of you!

What is the one piece of advice the Lia of today would say in the first post to The Slutty Princess of a year ago?


If Lia had to give “The Slutty Princess” and tip of advice when she first joined, I would have told her that she didn’t need to strive for other people’s pleasure. I’d tell her to put herself first, and the thoughts and pleasure of others second. I would have drilled this into her head. When I first joined, I was too worried about pleasing and pleasuring others. I was too worried about others satisfactory with me and not my own satisfactory.

Without a question, I think Sammie would be the one to go further in this situation. I’m territorial and I can get bothered with jealousy at times, I’d certainly be the one to call it quits. I don’t think I’d last very long in this situation. I don’t think I’d be able to do anything with her in the same room nor do I think I could watch her.

Sammie is wild...much wilder than me. She is usually the “aggressor” so to speak. I use to participate in bladder control tasks but I haven’t done one for awhile. Otherwise, there are occasions where I need to pee and I am stuck in class or stuck in traffic where I don’t think I will be able to make it to a bathroom. Ugh, I get irritated real quickly by wet clothing. I hate when my mittens get wet in the winter or when I am walking around the house in socks and step in a drip of water. I can’t stand wet clothing! Hmm...Skinny jeans can give me a problem at times when I really am desperate to pee but I think the most difficult (or the most irritating) article of clothing to take off to pee is certainly a romper. I actually find this “fad” kind of alluring, in hindsight, it is sexy and kinky. But then again, I think you should find another place to masturbate at. I guess I’m indifferent on the whole concept of the fad. If you are going to do it, it better be at a campus or university library. If it isn’t at a campus library, there will be children around, and that is where I get indifferent on the case. 1. What is the wildest dare you ever did?
I mentioned it in my last reply, but undressing and swapping clothes with my girlfriend at a movie theater while the movie was playing was by far the most fun and wildest dare I have ever done. I’m not sure if it could be classified as a dare, another user had dared us to switch panties during the movie but things escalated.

The only time I have been naked in front of a group of people was back in high school on numerous occasions. This is certainly a tough question because losing Sam is a hard reality to imagine. I’ve never been so scared of losing something in my entire life, but then again nothing in my life has ever meant as much to me as Sam does. She has given me the love that I feel like I have deserved all along but I haven’t got, and the thought of losing that is hard to swallow. She has my heart, so if she ever leaves, my heart will travel with her. If I were to say that I’d try to find strength and make my life better and try to be the same person I am, I’d be lying. I can’t envision a future without her by my side. I don’t think I’d be able to love again….actually, I know I wouldn’t be able to love anyone like the way I love her. My heart would never be as full as it is now. No smile could warm my heart like hers. No arms could make me feel as safe as hers. If I were to lose her, the only healthy outcome I can think of would be to surround myself with friends and family but my life wouldn’t be the same without her, because she is my best friend and she is family. I meant it when I told her I would love her forever. I love her and I will always love her. Even in the event that she’d leave me and break her promise of forever with me, I’ll hate that the promise was broken, but I’d never hate her.

What are the three things in the last one year that you would want to go back and change, and what will be the change?

Thanks for the creative and challenging question, I actually had to spend some time thinking about my answer! I try not to dwell on events of the past and I try not to hold onto regrets, but like everyone, I still have things I regret in my life. In the past year, I regret….

1.Not spending more time with my Grandfather before he passed. My grandparents on my father’s side of the family are the only grandparents that live within driving distance, my grandparents on my mother’s side live in her home country of Argentina, and I’ve only met them twice in person but I try to regularly skype with them. My grandfather on my father’s side of the family had suffered from Parkinson’s and Alzheimer's disease before he had passed this past September. He wasn’t mentally stable and he had a hard time getting around in his last few months but I wish I could have spent more time with him, listened to more of the stories that he could recall, play dominoes and card games with him, and take our monthly trip into town and get ice cream. I miss him. He filled my childhood with joy and memories and he always gave me the best advice a teenager could ask for, and he gave the best hugs! I just wish I could have been there a little bit more in his last few months, to spend a few more laughs together, and to take some of the stress off my grandmother’s shoulders.

2. I wish I had had the strength to come out to my parents. I had struggled to accept my sexual orientation for the longest of time and when I finally was ready to accept who I actually was, I couldn’t tell my parents. It was September. I had been dating Sammie for a few weeks and we had grown very close, close enough that we felt it was time to tell our parents. That night at the dinner table, my intent was to tell my parents who I really was….I had rehearsed the speech over and over again in my head but when I was finally ready to speak, I couldn’t muster a single word. Instead, I cried my eyes out, fearful of what my parents would think of me. Fortunately, my sister had come to my rescue for the umpteenth time. I had told her a few days beforehand that I was planning on coming out to my parents, and since day one, my sister had my back and supported me and that night, when I was at a lost for words and my words were replaced with tearful sobs, she spoke for me. She told my parents all about my struggles and fears, and about Sammie and I. 3. I wish I had put my personal physical and mental health first and worry about others second. Sometimes, I worry about pleasing others too much. Not familiar with your lingo, so correct me if I’m wrong, but I interpret it as..between the two of us, which one is wilder / more active in bed? If that is the case, Sam’s headlights are much brighter than mine. I am generally the more passive one, Sam is the partner that usually takes control and initiates the activity so to speak. I’ve reached climax just twice from nipple play, Sam, on the other hand, I have not been able to get her to climax from strictly nipple play. A climax without the use of hands? Challenging, but we’ve done it before. I mean, oral stimulation is the obvious counter to hands and we both have made each other climax without purely our mouths. Scissoring is also another option in which we have reached climax without using our hands. That being said, in both instances, my hands are always running freely from my body to hers, so I’m not sure if both count. During sex, my hands need to move, whether it be running through her hair or down her ribs, they just move wherever they want to move. My hands crave human contact!

As strange as it sounds, it is very common for us to watch porn together. I’m not a huge fan of porn, but if I do happen to watch a video, it is usually amateur videos or lesbian videos, or amateur lesbian videos! The other videos don’t really appeal to me. And in the instance that I do watch porn, it is always with Sam. I’m not the one to venture to porn websites, but sometimes we like to cuddle in bed and watch a few videos together to get ideas for techniques, maneuvers, positions, etc. Or we’ll use porn as a form of foreplay, but rarely does that happen.
