I hate to be a party pooper, but I think there is somthing illegal about having a "slave". After recent events in the news, I find that we need to DOUBLE check before all of us end up in jail...Even though I have never really partaken in having a Slave.

there has been quite a few legal cases involving BDSM activities recently but none questioning the actual concept of SM slavery, as in the SM community it is willing "slavery", so is not technicaly slavery its just a term used to describe it.

More post deletations i meen they are personal ads.. if you dont delete them and just mess with the title then the ad is still there...
you need to remove the ad compleaty if it doesent comply with the structure of the fourm.

age is mandatory in your profile period and i beleve to set a age limit upon them. illegal activitys occure when a teen of anyage lower then 18 shows herself on webcam or pics.

this area is a more sexual area so a minimum age should be enforced. an age of consent or a avrage. in canada age of consent is 14, in other places it is higher or lower.. to be safe to protect people from predators there should be a min age limit. i know most people are teens in this site but still as such there are laws that are out there that would consider sosliting sex or whatever with minors... and the owners of the site would be also held..

i meen "slave" lawsutes are nothing they are willing and they will be let go when the game turns out less fun.. there is the willing abuse and there is the abuse that is wrong..

I know this is not what you wanted this to be for. But this could turn out to be a problem. I'd hate to see Depp behind bars. Maybe he could go pirate style :D and get himself out. But I think the names need to be changed so we don't sound like some freaky bondage cult.

With forum rules as they are however, no pics are allowed to be posted or anything like that which should protect him from a legal point of view, and I'm still curious about the laws of underage pornography if it is done consensually and only watched by people of the same age.

now the age thing is set, i think that it is better to also remove the emails from the under 14 years old from their thread (so don't just lock, also remove email) because other way they can still get in contact with ppl via this site.

I am developing at the moment a system that will both prevent underage posting and stop people from formatting their posts incorrectly. It is in development now and has taken my top priority.

I am really excited about the changes I am about to make. I'll set up a beta of the new Slave/Master section before it goes live for people to test for a few days.

Also I thought the staff banned you Tessdog. Guess I'll close up that spare account of yours. You did break the rules about a million times :)

Could u have it so that the posts are divided into age catigorys as well something like 13-16, 17-20, 20+ or something like that.

there just needs to be something that stops people over 18 being masters to people under, nothing else is really a big deal.

But now we don't get to listen to Tess blab on and on about how he is better than everybody else here cause he has been here for a whole 5 months! I am so saddened...:rolleyes:

On a serious note, you might just want to consider IP banning him, since he likes gimmick accounts.

Now, as for the real reason on my posting: I just wanted to say that, having looked over it right quickly, that applet seems like a phenomenal improvement, depp. The formatting should help a ton, and, well, the applet just looks awesome. Great work, staff folks!

As for age limits....I really think they do need to be enforced strictly in that area, considering the possibility for any number of legal issues arising from it. I mean, the possibility of potential liability and/or a civil suit are pretty damn rough, even without getting into the issues of what qualifies as criminal...

So yeah, I think the applet and age limit enforcements are both excellent ideas.

even if the person is under 18 and it is consenually the person watching can still get in legal trouble

You know depp, I didn't think it could be done. But you have made it almost impossible for someone to post incorrectly in the Slave/Master section. As a programmer, it's pretty easy to do, but the way you've incorporated it into the slave/master section, hats off to you!

Although I still think no matter how simple and obvious you make it, there will always be someone who either ignores the rules, or just doesn't comprehend them.

I like that new style it will be a great help to the forum, I think with the Extras bit that you want people to know at a glance instead of having a drop down box have tick boxes as they may want to select more than one thing.

I don't want three line thread titles so I will have to avoid the checkbox thing for now. I will however accept suggestions for other of these "extra" things to be added to the dropdown.

Well I have a suggestion for the Slave/Master section. It's not original, and other forums do it, but I think it will be a great help to organising getDare's forum.

You should make Slave Looking and Master Looking sub forums. You can make your little script thingo put peoples posts into the right sub-forums automatically.

I think this will clean up the forum a bit, and help people find what they are looking for easier.

I'll look into doing this during my next update. We have so many new posts in this section now it makes sense.
