Allowable word or line count?

Is there a limit on how many lines or words can be in a single posting of a story? I have read all the guides and info I can find and there is nothing there.

Well I'm hoping to post chapters of roughly 2500 words so I hope that's safe. I'll check in to see if you find out as that would be useful.

Don't think there's any limit.

Some of my chapters have been around 2000 words in the past I think. I generally stick to abot 1000 average to avoid boring people but I don't think there's an upper limit.

2500 should be acceptable :)

Per blog entry, there is a limit of 10,000 characters which is about 1,500 words.

Per post in a thread, there is a limit of 25,000 characters which is about 3,750 words.

Per signature, there is a limit of 1,000 characters.

The system counts BB code as part of the text, so all text incl BB code, links, pictures and such have to be under the limit. I don't know what the limit is for a thread post, although I think it would be the same as a second+ post in a thread.
