View Full Version : CLUB DARE- fitness at its finest

Looking to get in shape? Or maintain your body? A little fun while doing it?

Well look no further.

This thread will be fitness oriented with a kinky twist:D

RULES

1.Simply say that you are in.

2.Post a fitness task, NOTHING SEXUAL YET! Wait till the dare section comes up for this. ex (50 situps, go for a 20 min walk, ect) No equipment, to be fair for everyone keep it with stuff you can do with just your body. (for now at least) Max one task per day, per person.

3.Complete your task, along with other tasks posted, post which tasks you complete and get a point. You can only do each task once per day. (well you can do them more if you want) but you will only get one point for each task a day.

4.Game will last a week, mon - sun. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. Then the game starts over with new tasks and reset points.

5.THE REWARD - Top people will be able to give a dares of choice to the losers (within reason and limits) for the sake of a good game dont be rediculous. NOTICE 1st place can give dares to anyone under them 2nd can give to any under them and so on, kind of a chain of comand type thing.

6.Number of Dares will depend on how many people are in it ex (if 10 people are in it 1st place can give 10 dares out for the week, 2nd can give 9 ect)

7.It will still be up to the people to accept the dares or not, anyone who refuses a dare will lose 5 points for the current week. However completed dares count as a point.

8.Anyone can quit or resign anytime they want and rejoin later down the road. ex (health problems, personal issues, going on vacation ect.) however when they do rejoin there score will be reset, and previous dares assigned to them will still be assigned to them.

I will make a blog for this thread and put it in my signature, I will then do my best to keep up with the leaderboard part and whos in the game. So since im doing that, im going to go by my time zone (eastern time) Up to you to figure out the time difference.

The game will go from 12:01 am Moday till midnight the following Sunday.

If any rules need to be added or changed it will be posted in the blog and thread, but for now it seems pretty straight forward and shouldnt need any tweeking.

So with that said, everyone have fun, dont be rediculous, and please be honest.

Oh yea, looks like my hunt for fitness threads has payed off. This seems promising, so I'm definitely IN and already see myself in the very top on the scoreboard. :D

We seem to have a pretty good start here, have not got a chance to get to the tasks yet, but I will sometime today.:)

so far ive just got the 20 min walk today, Not going to update the blog (leaderboard) just yet.

I will more than likely just do that once a day probably in the mornings, but if I update it mid day or later I will post on the thread.

I did all tasks easy-peasy.

Walking, 20 sit-ups, 40 leg raises, 20 squats, 50 jumping jacks. People don't forget to add new tasks every day!!

New task I'm adding is: 2 mins of holding plank ( http://i.imgur.com/dsCnb8k.jpg )

Just seen this thread as im going to bed.. bookmarked. I'll run to work in the morning and catch up with the other tasks after the run. Then ill hit you all with my task... I hope you all like the plank ;) Great idea for a thread btw.

Well I think you can post variation of it, modify somehow, just to make it not completely same, so it can be distinguished from other tasks somehow...

Or thread starter has some advice about duplicate tasks as they should be more frequent as thread grows.

Just updated the blog, I only completed the 20 min walk, 20 sit ups, I actually did 50 squats (I thought that was how many there were). oops

So I end day 1 with only 3 points, which is fine for me, im not really out to win it. I just want to start getting back into shape, and thought id have some fun on the way.:D

As far as tasks go, I guess it doesnt really matter if the same thing gets posted twice (people can just do it twice a day then) im sure its going to happen down the road anyway. Just remember once the week finishes the points and tasks get reset.

Other than that good job everyone!:)

Since I'm in the lead I skipped, I think 2, but just done the bunch of other tasks:

20 sit-ups
20 squats
50 jumping jacks
2 mins of holding plank
30 bycycle crunches
15 wide push-ups
75 jumping jacks

This shall keep me in lead, hell I may even skip a day while you bunch of whimps collect some points xD

adding to rooster task: 35 pushups on knees (for all you girl-ies :D)

Just updated the board. I only managed the 20 min. walk yeasterday and 20 squats. I guess it wasnt a good idea to start drinking in the afternoon. Kinda killed the rest of the day for excersize.:wall:

Today I just got the 20 min walk in so far.

Right I did 40 minutes running today, but still haven't had time to do any of the other bits. I thought I'd be all over this dare but I'm not having the time. I guess I need to catch up on a lot when I get the chance.

OK so I just added standing on each leg for 2.5 minutes. You must wear a back pack with at least 3kg, ~6.5 pounds in. You cant hold anything, you cant rest the other foot on the standing one. If you have to put foot dowm or touch something, reset the clock.

After skipping a day I re-did this routine from last time


20 sit-ups
20 squats
50 jumping jacks
2 mins of holding plank
30 bycycle crunches
15 wide push-ups
75 jumping jacks


...and added Reptile's task of standing on one leg with backpack. Did it with 7kg weight as I like this sort of challenge, even that wasn't too hard tho I had some funky balancing (that involved hopping :D) while on left leg somewhere around last minute.

As for me all I got in yesterday were the two sets of 20 squats, and the two different sets of push-ups.
So only 4 for me yesterday, im really slacking this week but im going to try to get in a bit more today.

I'm joining quite late to this, looks good, but I walk to work almost every day which takes more that 20 minutes, I've walked 4 times since monday so does that count?

Blog updated, for me I just got the walk in yesterday. I figured making this thread would help motivate me, but it hasnt yet:( Its a slow start for me, but hey at least its a start:)

btw. its very poor excuse to 'not have time' for it, because it barely takes 10-15 minute

Last day everyone, I hope I can find some motivation myself.

also If you guys could post the points you earned at the end of your post it would help me a great deal, so I dont make any mistakes counting them. Also it would be alot faster and easier for me.
Keeping up on the blog is a bit more annoying than I anticipated. lol

I never got a chance to report my activities, well actually only activity, for yesterday so I'll put it in this post as well. Yesterday I only did the 20 minutes of walking while today I sadly only got the 20 squats and 15 pushups done.

So I went ahead and did the 25 jumping jacks,30 push ups, and 25 squats.

I did this as a morning work out along with some other workouts this morning.

I always listen to music when exercising as it relaxes me. I don't know if anyone has tried it before but if you like music and have the stuff it may motivate you a bit more as then you can focus on the music while exercising.

Just throwing that out there.

That's 3 points.

Well i didnt do anything on here again yesterday, started out the day lazy but eventually got sidetracked and actually completley spaced it. :o

All that is going to change though, (hopefully):)
Today so far I just did the 25 jumping jacks, and 25 squats...
Plus the 50 of what im adding today.

So just 3 points for me so far..

I will add (not sure what its called)

Stand with legs about shoulder length apart, bend over keeping legs straight touch the ground and come back up and reach your hands up as high as you can reach. (if you dont understand this just ask) or if someone knows what they are called, let me know.

I did the 50 toe touches, 25 squats,30 push ups,25 jumping jacks,and 30 sit-ups as a morning work out.

Points earned 5, and I'll add 30 bicycles.

To do these you lay on your back and move your legs as if you are riding a bicycle and one rotation of each leg is 1 of them.
Your legs should not touch the ground during these.

I hope I explained that clearly.

What you do is add a task, and just do the exercises on the blog. I think you just have to work extra hard to catch up. I'm not sure.

CBT can also explain how to catch up when he gets on.

You can do the each once per day, also add your own task once per day.
Joining later in the week like this will be very difficult to catch up, but points and tasks reset every week.

ok, I just got in the jumping jacks, pushups, toe touches, and squats.
I then did some weight lifting for a little while, which I cant add. But did it anyway.:)

Yes you can add jogging, whatever you feel like adding as long as it doesnt involve equipment.

Also I'll add something new:
Spread your arms in a horizontal position to the left and right and keep them up for 1 minute (I did this too, btw)
