If I was to choose an animal, I would pick an eagle or a cat.
Eagle because I would like to fly to the highest peaks and behold the world before me.
Cat because they are just so agile and gracious, I love cats :)

I want to come back as a bird to experience the freedom of the skies. I've thought about this before and either want to come back as a crow for the whole 'flock' experience or a humming bird, because they're viscous to one another when they're fighting. They're like little sky warriors that way.

I would sleep most of the day, at night come sit on your chest as you sleep begging for food, keeping your feet or lap warm. Consoling someone that's going through heartache. But not a cat to a person who's a cat "collector". A cat... Your cat... Your ONLY cat...
