Now to more informal stuff.

I was inundated with literally 12 nominations for favourite authors. However, these were for the same 7 authors. Unfortunately, one of the authors nominated was for a story in the Mature Stories section. I feel it would be unfair to them to include them in the candidature for the award, as not everyone can acces their story. Thus there are six candidates for the award. I promised five, but I think it's easier just to not eliminate anyone.

On a personal note, I think the stories we have nominated cover a really nice broad spectrum of story styles and topics. It's a massive honour + ego boost to be nominated alongside some of the people who inspired me to finally write a story. Everyone nominated (except possibly me) would definitely be justified in winning the award. I think it'll be really interesting to see who wins!

Happy Voting,
Hamps

It's up to people if they want to post their vote as well as polling.

I'm not sure I'll vote, it's too hard to choose :\

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think nominees should only sit & watch.

Mmm. It's ethical. And honourable. And I'll stop talking now.

Oh! my God! I won! I really did! Wow! Ok huh...

I'd like to thank the Academy, God, everyone who voted for me... my time is up? I just got here. I want to thank my mom, uh, sex, 'cos without it I'd have nothing to write about, uh my wife (thanks for believing in me) and my girlfriend (for keeping everything below the radar). I'd like to thank Isaac Asimov and the Easter bunny...

I won! Woooh....!!!! (says he being dragged off stage).

Thank you everyone very much.
