As possibly the most senior active GD member (58) and a dominant, I may have something of value. I would like for you to get to know me better. I want to know you better too. I hope your questions will be more than sexual but I'll do my best to answer anything you ask. If you want to PM, that's fine too.

OK, while I hope for questions that offer more insight into who i really am, I'll answer. What I mean is that I have a wealth of life experiences that have shaped my character and persona. I've learned things that i never wanted to know and I've somehow survived things that could have broken me long ago. I've made mistakes yet I've impressed even myself on occasion. I've dealt with alcohol, drug, sexual molestation and eating disorders (not as the one afflicted). I've had a variety of professions including as a photographer (yes, nude models, even paid to shoot by "the big 'PB" mag), writer and in motor sports. Maybe i can offer something worthwhile. That's my real hope.

1. Do you enjoy being nude? Yes, when the time is right.
2. What is the longest stretch of time you have spent in the nude? Most of a day.
3. Have you ever been to a nudist beach? No, never had the need.
4. If you have never been to a nudist beach, would you consider going to one? I would.
5. Have you ever been skinny dipping? Alone or with friends? Both.
6. If with friends, male or female? Female
7. Have you ever slept in the nude? Yes, often.
8. Have you ever gone commando? Of course.
9. Have you ever been nude in front of family members? (excluding when you were a kid) Yes. Not a big issue.
10. Are your pubes natural, trimmed or shaved? Trimmed.
11. Are you circumcised? Yes.
12. How big is your tool? Above average, and size isn't everything.
13. Are you straight, bi or gay? Straight.
14. Have you ever allowed anyone to touch your genital area? Yes.
15. If yes, male, female or both? Did you enjoy it? Females, yes. Male was a doctor in an exam so nothing sexual about it, very mechanical.
16. If not, would you do it as a dare? No. I'd want a better reason.
17. What is your favourite method of masturbating? The time-tested old fashioned way.
18. What is the weirdest place you ever masturbated in? Probably the place that the late Pres Nixon stayed when he was the first president ever to visit China. In Beijing.
19. Have you ever masturbated in front of anyone? If yes, male or female? Yes, female.
20. Do you have any piercings? If yes where? None.

Here's my questions. Not a long list, but that's all I can think of at the moment. Non-sexual ones too, like you wanted ;):

1. Is it true that pink is your favourite colour?
2. Do you go to bed cuddling a soft toy, plushie or teddy bear? Truth please!
3. Favorite Disney character?
4. So I heard you like lollipops...which flavour do you like best?
5. When was the last time you did something childish and what was it?

1- Hot pink, thank you very much!
2- Cuddling is reserved for the woman who has captured my heart.
3- Goofy. Big ears, housebroken, what's not to love?
4- Cherry. Nothing like a good cherry to lick.
5- Last night, after chatting with you about something unfortunate that really worried you, I acted like a little boy holding out for a cookie before going to bed. You, however, took great delight in not letting me have that cookie. But that was OK. I got you to smile and hopefully forget about the problem for a while. It was worth it. :)

Time for me to ask some questions.

Always have to ask these:
- Do you think there is an afterlife?
- Do you believe in (a) God?
- Do you think we're alone in the universe?
- If not, do you think there is intelligent life elsewhere?
- If so, do you think we have ever or are now being visited by extraterrestial intelligent life?

And some other questions:
- Funny to see you're a nude photographer. Is it a turn on when you're on the job or doesn't it do anything to you seeing nude models because you just consider it a job?
- Ever met any really embarrassed models?
- What do you write?
- What is your favorite movie?
- What is your favorite book?
- A meteorite is heading towards earth. There's nothing we can do about it, all life will end in one month. What do you do?

Time for me to ask some questions.

Always have to ask these:
- Do you think there is an afterlife? Yes
- Do you believe in (a) God? By whatever name or form, since I have no explanation for even the existence of a vacuum, yes. I grew up Catholic but which religion is correct? All of them and none of them. My focus is to be the best person I can be. That's my responsibility to myself and the world.
- Do you think we're alone in the universe? No. Just the odds with so many other planets that could support carbon-based life, we're not the only intelligent life. Sometimes I wonder if mankind as a whole even deserves that tag.
- If not, do you think there is intelligent life elsewhere? Answered.
- If so, do you think we have ever or are now being visited by extraterrestial intelligent life? I think we have. At that time, we may have seemed an entertaining curiosity. Now we would probably appear as a less balanced, more lethal wild card to be watched more intensely but from a safer distance.

And some other questions:
- Funny to see you're a nude photographer. Is it a turn on when you're on the job or doesn't it do anything to you seeing nude models because you just consider it a job? Very good question! My goal when photographing is for the images to be even more beautiful than the model. She's trusting me to do my best. For Nearly every woman I've photographed nude, it was their first time. By the time we were done and especially once she saw her photos, she had noticeably changed: more confident, outgoing, empowered. My participation in those sessions was as an extension of the camera. Had a photo shoot become about me thinking of sex with her, the shoot was over.
- Ever met any really embarrassed models? Yes. I think they started by seeing themselves as ugly ducklings only to be beautiful swans within hours.
- What do you write? Mostly I was paid to write on more technical topics like product evaluations and how-to article. Writing was a means to sell my photography at first.
- What is your favorite movie? Tough one. I enjoy many but a sentimental favorite is the 1960's era classic "To Sir With Love" with Sidney Poitier and Julie Christie. I think when I first saw it, I was in just the right place for it to really mean something to me.
- What is your favorite book? I honestly don't read many books anymore. I read a lot, including newspapers daily and magazines, just not books.
- A meteorite is heading towards earth. There's nothing we can do about it, all life will end in one month. What do you do? Once I know that impending doom is real, I try to support those around me who are afraid and coming apart. I'm not afraid to die. I'm more afraid of living with the knowledge that I might have helped someone in need but was too self-centered to be bothered. That's a scary thought!

Thanks, Doc. Nothing like some philosophy to start the day! :)

Feel free to ask some fun - even sex - questions too. I don't want to bore anyone!

I do love a good truth thread :)

1. Since you love edging, have you ever edged? How many times have you edged in one day?

2. Nude photos, did you ever have any awkward moments that you got aroused at the wrong time?

3. Have you ever had a relationship with someone you have worked with.

4. Where is the most public place you have had sex? Have you ever been caught?

5. Have you ever been dominated yourself?

6. Have you been in chastity, if so how long?

Can't wait to see this thread develop :)

I do love a good truth thread :)

1. Since you love edging, have you ever edged? How many times have you edged in one day?
-- Yes I have. Probably 20 very extreme edges, like each within a second or two of cumming. That's how I appreciate the difficulty.

2. Nude photos, did you ever have any awkward moments that you got aroused at the wrong time?
-- I do remember a photo shoot with a female friend during which I must have had a very visible hard-on. And she seemed to get nastier just to have her fun with me but never mentioning my arousal. That outdoor waterfall session was also my first nude bondage photo session. Tying her, it would have been impossible for her to have not seen my erection in my walking shorts. I'm not sure how (or even why, today) I kept my promise to not take advantage of a model. Yeh, that promise to myself wasn't very nice to me that day.

3. Have you ever had a relationship with someone you have worked with.
-- No I haven't.

4. Where is the most public place you have had sex? Have you ever been caught?
-- It wasn't so much public as the fear of getting caught. At a new GF's very-recently-the-EX boyfriend's duplex when she "needed" to get her belongings. She sorta ravaged me unexpectedly. I focused on cumming quicker than ever to avoid being a news headline the next day. It was disrespectful doing it in his living room. It was scary being there naked 10 minutes after he would have finished worki which was only five minutes away. And it should have raised red flags in my brain about the kind of character issues she had that would later bite me in my ass.

5. Have you ever been dominated yourself?
-- Yes, in a "switch" situation, giving her a chance to be on top.

6. Have you been in chastity, if so how long?
-- Yes, for about a month many many years ago. I do know many of the thoughts that I anticipate a sub will have during any scenario I may create. It's very important for both the success and safety of any activities. I know sometimes I can really push a sub but what most here don't know is that I'm also in contact by PM's to be sure the sub is OK and to support however I can.

Can't wait to see this thread develop :)

Thank you. Good questions and I hope I've given some worthy answers.

And some more...

What engineering do you write about? Vehicles? Machines? What was your most challenging item to write about?
Mostly motorsports and photography-related articles. I used to race and build vehicles.

My number one rule in life is don't get caught. What is yours?
Sorry, this isn't nearly so short. When I was in a really bad time of my life, relationship ended, I realized that throughout my life, it's been a series of choices by me. I could either do what I wanted or I could do what I felt to be right. Every single time I had done what I wanted instead of what was right, I had problems. But doing what was right wasn't always the easiest, only the smoothest path. I also saw that when there wasn't any difference between doing what I wanted and doing the right thing, when the two were the same, that my life went very well.

Have you had a real life bdsm relationship? Have you ever witnessed sub drop or sub space?
Yes, I have had such relationships. I pay an extraordinary amount of effort focusing on my sub's mental and emotional states so any drops aren't severe. And during a session, I try to let my sub mentally and emotionally float however she wants.

You have only done 20 edges and a month of denial yet you love to deny and tease girls, don't feel a little bit guilty?
No, feeling guilty would require a conscience. I've managed to hide mine away, especially when that sub suffering such denial has a name remarkably like your own. :D

Do you like taunting innocent submissives on this site?
I get the submissives part but where are those innocents you mention?

What is the best acheivement in your life?
Surviving to be who I am today. My life is far from perfect and I'm personally nowhere near being that but I'm pretty happy being who I am. That really goes to why I started this thread. I've seen and survived a lot. I've been at the bottom, taken inventory and rebuilt myself to be someone I hope is pretty decent. Maybe my experiences can help others here.

What is your most memorable session you have had, online or offline?
Two, one IRL and one online, with Slutty Brittany (river) and Mistress Reagen (http://www.getdare.com/bbs/showpost.php?p=980394&postcount=597). The latter was simply amazing, a 15-hour session that transformed their lives. I'm actually playing with them both right now. They're coming up on their first anniversary very soon too.

There you go. Great questions again. Thanks.

More random questions:

1. What are some of the most embarrassing things that you have done?
That would have to be the usual kid stuff before I was 16. I was actually pretty responsible though. Sorry but there's very little, nothing that jumps out.

2. What are some of the most humiliating things that you have done (if they're not the same as 1)?
Let's just say that my awareness of the joys of puberty was ahead of my classmates. A year of undeserved name calling helped temper my character. To make up a bit for the lack of embarrassing, I do have a regret. One "not too pretty" girl in my 8th grade class, thick glasses, full lips, Latino in a class of whites, was being picked on. I truly regret not having stood up for her. I could have made a huge difference and I let it slip away. I'm sorry, Teresa.

3. Ever dressed up in clothes of the opposite gender? :p
Never.

4. Which part of the opposite gender would do you ogle first?
I don't ogle. I appreciate. Probably face and eyes first, then overview: figure, legs, skin, hair, etc.

5. Which part of the same gender would do you ogle first?
I definitely don't ogle men. I may envy six-pack abs as those have eluded me my whole life. We each have our unique strengths though. Mine just aren't on the surface, never were and never will be.

6. How often do you masturbate?
Probably cum at least every other day. Nice thing about being older is that even after cumming, the erection stays for much longer. No longer a pistol but that means I pay more attention to my lady.

7. How often do you watch porn and what kind?
Often, the usual pay-TV fair and lifestyle vids on the internet.

8. Would you accept dares from the submissives who you taunt on this site? I think mumbles would have a field day if you did :p
No, I'd respectfully decline.

9. Just really curious, what's your height?
Between 5'10" and 6'

Wow, bringing back some memories.

You're so damned old, you have to be some kind of pervert. What the hell are you doing here?
Well, old enough to know better; young enough to do it anyway! Longevity is in my genes anyway. I'll admit to being a bit twisted. If I really am a pervert, what better place to hide than here?

how does sex compare between being 20 and 200?
When I was younger, it was more quantity and athletic. I remember a personal "best" of cumming eight times in one afternoon. As you age, numbers like that won't happen. What does happen is that you actually improve your technique, become a better, more thoughtful lover whose pleasure isn't focused on his own penis. I became more creative and less sexually inhibited. Erections are still great without that little blue pill and last a lot longer after cumming.

How many times did you come close to dying, and how would being dead be different from being your current age?
i did a count years ago. There were at least seven times I could easily have died, being on the good side by just a second or a couple inches or such. As with any age, there are days when you'd think death would be an improvement. A nasty hangover the morning after a night you don't remember - except for "the video on your phone" would qualify. Since I don't drink, smoke or do drugs, time isn't kicking my butt like it could.

Did you ever go dinosaur hunting?
Couldn't get any hunting tags in time. Bureaucrats strike again!

What were dodos like?
Like a cross between chicken and turkey, depending on the part. Easy to catch, hence the phrase "dumb as a dodo bird."

When you cum does it come out like talcum powder?
Now that's just mean! No, it doesn't. You should come over and try some. I dare you!

Ever had a slave that was difficult to control?
Some can be challenging. I approach this a bit differently. Beyond the BDSM lifestyle, I pay attention to the big picture. I want to understand WHY a sub or slave is acting out before I address it. Whether the slave knows it or not, it's my responsibility to be a good person and friend long before I need to be her master.

What age was you when you lost your virginity? (I know it's SUCH a long time ago)
I was in my mid-20's. I had a major injury a few years before that took me years from which to recover my general lifestyle. Chasing tail took a back seat to being able to do the things I did so easily before. The saying "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is very true. I'm proud to say that I lost my virginity to a woman I truly loved. Of course I wish it had been sooner in life. I can wish for all sorts of things but you have to play the hand you're dealt. I think I've played it pretty well so far with great things still to come.

Mumbles, I need to have a word with Miss B about repeating our playtime. I know you loved it so much! :D

Thanks for the questions.

What has been your best experience on GetDare?
I think it's been meeting some really great people here. Some I would really consider friends in real life, were we to actually meet. Of course I still hope to meet that special woman. Who knows where she's hiding!

What has been your worst experience on GetDare?
Something that happened recently on a KIK group chat with members all from GD. I'm pretty sure those members didn't get the whole story and that's been very harmful to me and what I had apparently mistaken as friendships. That's also a reason why I started this thread, so others have an opportunity to understand me better. I've been guilty of making assumptions about others in the past based on too little information. I hope I don't do that now. I've definitely had people assume I'm (put negative comment here) when they haven't even made the effort to know me. That's a disservice to them and me, not even considering that a good friendship might result. I have noticed that the best people in my life, my very best friends, became my friends directly from a very negative source (people or event).

Which is your favorite thread here?
There is no favorite. There are ones I enjoy more than others, typically ones that offer a challenge, when the subjects are pushed and then reports on not just what happened but how they feel. I like to see growth and exploration in a safe and sane way.

Probably my most favorite relationship, watching it not just begin but seeing it progress to the present is with Slutty Brittany (now "river" in real life) and Mistress Reagen. They haven't been as active here in the last six months because they're living out what many here can only dream would happen.

Since you asked, Juanita, their relationship started not very differently from the one you have with Eva. Life takes strange turns but sometimes with a little help from your friends it can surprise you in wonderful ways.

You mentioned problems with alcohol, drugs, sexual molestation and eating disorders. Which was the most difficult to deal with?
Each is its own hell, just the wallpaper changes. I've always been in a supporting role. I've faced down alcohol and drugs in my own life with family and my own personal challenges. Fortunately for myself, I shut down those escapes before I used, but it would have been so easy...

I had a girlfriend who had been molested as a child by her grandfather. She coped with the pain with food, becoming seriously bulimic. One evening after dinner, when she had an Overeaters Anonymous meeting to attend, she didn't want to go. She offered sex instead. She was at the meeting with me by her side that night. Of course I would have preferred sex. She was hot! She'd just shot her centerfold with a major magazine. But I talked about doing what you want vs. doing the right thing for a reason. We're no longer together but when I look back, I know I did some good things with her. It was more important to be the man she needed than it was for me to get laid.

What is your favorite music genre? Favorite bands, if any?
I enjoy a variety of music genres, mostly from the 60's and 70's but others too. Eagles, Clapton, Cocker, Animals, Doors, Elton John, Adele, Buffalo Springfield, Evanescence, Radiohead, Pretenders, Garbage, Johnny Cash, Julio Iglesias, and many more.

Which decade, according to you, was the most decadent and why- 70s, 80s or 90s?
Hmmm. Decadent. I don't know how to explain this. I think they're all pretty much the same. It's the access to information (Internet) that makes any activity more public, for people to be aware of different things to do, or not to do. Going to extremes here, screwing sheep ("there will never be another ewe..."), sodomy, pedophilia, necrophilia and more. They've been around for thousands of years. In some civilizations, you were killed if you were caught doing any of them. Today, you read about these acts on the Internet and you think it's disgusting "how anyone could do that" and "what has this world become?" But it's nothing new. Only the proliferation of the information has made it common knowledge. And online shopping means you can get those kinky toys anonymously and easily so it's simpler to explore your fantasies too.

Excellent questions, Juanita. Thanks!

I'll assume you mean that nobody HERE knows about. I'll say yes but leave it at that. It's a very hot topic (perfectly legal) that could easily take over this thread. Hints: It's pretty much illegal in the UK but not in the USA and there is a huge amount of misinformation regarding this topic.

Are you left handed or right?
Right

What is one thing that you catch yourself thinking about regularly?
Sex

How old are you?
58

How many people have you had sex with?
Enough to appreciate that the emotion far outpaces the exercise.

What is your favorite daydream (not fantasy)?
I can't say that I daydream that much. I'm fortunate that I actually enjoy my work, getting paid to do what I like, so I don't have as much need to escape with daydreams.

What is your favorite color?
Probably Porsche Guard Red, a very pure, vibrant red often used by Porsche.

What is your shoe size?
12

Do you drink alcohol?
Rarely. No problems with it, just prefer to stay sober.

If yes, what is your favorite drink?
I had a truly great plum wine, even brought some back with me from Asia. Now if I could only find the bottles!

How often do you cuss (swear)?
More than I should but not like a longshoreman.

Do you have a family?
No children if that's what you mean. I'd like to change that.

Have you ever been in love?
Yes. Very definitely. I felt like Superman!

Do you believe in love?
Of course I do.

What's the first thing you look for in a potential partner?
Character. If I'm going to lay my heart wide open, I want to know she won't be driving a tractor through it.

How much consideration do you have for proper hygiene?
Proper hygiene is important. Get lazy with even the basics like body odor and even a bear won't want to be near you.

Do you shave?
Yes

Last one for now,

Are you happy?
You know, you just asked the most basic, fundamental question I think possible. Am I happy? Yes. No. I don't know. I'm happy with who I am, the man I've become over time. I'm not happy in that I don't have that special woman with whom to share, enjoy, experience life. It's like I have a huge reservoir of emotions inside with no way to express them. I have a lot to give yet realize that I need to be careful, neither isolated from the world nor wearing a target on my chest saying, "Hit me!"

Thanks, CJLM. I enjoyed your questions. Looking forward to more.

What does true happiness mean to you?

Do you believe that ignorance is bliss?

What's your favorite animal?

What's your favorite food?

Any particular meal?

Does it bother you when I fail to reply to your emails?

Do you own any animals?

Do you prefer random spastic annoying happy or serious Almost bitter cant take a joke fine?

Which would you consider yourself?

What do you do for work?

What does your dream house consist of?

Perfer to be in the mountains, or on the beach?

Perfer to be at home, or traveling?

Cuddle with a movie, or go out on the town?

I enjoy your answers.

Where have you been?
Assuming you mean travel, I've been across the USA, to S. America, Asia and Indonesia.

What's your longest relationship?
For romance, about 2 years.I have friendships more than 30 years and going strong to this day.

What is the longest amount of time that you've ever worked?
I've been self employed since I was 20 except for a period as a magazine editor.

How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
About 15 minutes, maybe more depending on what I'm going to be doing.

What does true happiness mean to you?
Fully accepting myself as a person, knowing that I've been a positive part of society, being healthy, not having to worry about tomorrow, having someone in my life with whom to share the glory and help me forget those other days.

Do you believe that ignorance is bliss?
No. I believe in myself. I believe that I'm capable of dealing with the negative rather than having to react to the damage it can cause.

What's your favorite animal?
I think dogs, for the companionship. I've had a dog all of my life.

What's your favorite food?
I have a few. Not so much exotic dishes but well prepared staples. Steak, chicken, fish, pasta, even salads.

Any particular meal?
Free ones are preferred. :D

Does it bother you when I fail to reply to your emails?
Since I haven't emailed you, I'd have to think. I guess it's why I'd have written whether I'd be bothered. And I'd try to think of how you might be feeling if it was of a personal nature.

Do you own any animals?
Yes, a dog.

Do you prefer random spastic annoying happy or serious Almost bitter cant take a joke fine?
What would that question be in English? :p

Which would you consider yourself?

What do you do for work?
A variety of skills, all of which I can take to each of my clients. Ideally photography is first, then graphic arts, computer IT, all the way to metal fabrication if I became really desperate.

What does your dream house consist of?
First, in a good locale. Weather is important. So is not having neighbors so close I can't flush the toilet without them knowing. Then a basic well-designed kitchen. Lots of light. Good security. A good central brain for a network rack and IT features. Swimming pool. Spa and steam room. Gym. BIG playroom. Photo studio and workshop too.

Perfer to be in the mountains, or on the beach?
I'm on the beach now but it's not as important as you'd think. The weather is awesome but traffic sucks and I'm burned out with all the summer tourists. The people are more important than the location anyway.

Perfer to be at home, or traveling?
Home. The last time I had to do laundry when traveling was in South Korea. Tip: When retiring, invest in a laundry shop near the really good hotels. Damn that was expensive. I should have just bought new underwear!

Cuddle with a movie, or go out on the town?
Cuddle with a movie. Every time. It's not the movie or the dining or anything else. It's the company.

Do you find it hard showing your kinky side when in a new relationship?
I'd be open about it. There's so much more to gain by being honest and willing to listen to her too. She may just surprise me with some kink of her own.

Lastly, for now

How do you know when you're in love versus lusting after someone?
Lusting seems to have a more panicked sense about it, like if you don't grab it right now, it will disappear and never come back. Being in love is more relaxed, comfortable, confident. Being in love doesn't have an expiration date on it either. Love includes a willingness to make sacrifices, talk about things you don't want to expose to anyone else, and to compromise when appropriate.

Thanks again. More solid questions. You're good at this, CJLM!

Love the answers!
I suppose by emailing I meant pming here.

What is your dogs name?

How tall are you?

Have you ever broken a bone?

What do you perfer, laid back or up tight.

When will you ask me questions on my thread?

Do you collect anything?

do you consider yourself Intelligent?

Cutting this one short, but to follow in routine,
Think back on your favorite memory, share if you like, not necessary though.
Is it a happy memory?
How does it make you feel?
Wish you could relive it?
Would you change it in anyway?
(When I think of really happy memories I get really sad. ..)

Love the answers!
I suppose by emailing I meant pming here.

What is your dogs name?
Named after the English king who had his wife's head chopped off.

How tall are you?
5' 10 - 5' 11"

Have you ever broken a bone?
Yes

What do you perfer, laid back or up tight.
Each has it's time and place. Laid back is healthier but up tight will more likely come through in a crunch.

When will you ask me questions on my thread?
I was waiting to think of something worthy of you but I may need to lower that standard a bit, to just be entertaining. You're using up all the good questions!

Do you collect anything?
Not really. I've inherited a couple collections but am not actively trying to expand them.

do you consider yourself Intelligent?
When I manage to keep my head out of my ass, I like to think so.

Cutting this one short, but to follow in routine,
Think back on your favorite memory, share if you like, not necessary though.

Is it a happy memory?
I think so, but scary too. The first time with a woman I truly loved. It's that time when you pray that you don't make a fool out of yourself, that she doesn't grab her clothes and run out the door screaming in horror. OK, an exaggeration but you get the idea. Of course, the second time, no worries. She was tied spread-eagle to the bed. :D

How does it make you feel?
Happy for those who have that right now. Hopeful that I'll get another shot at the brass ring.

Wish you could relive it?
If I didn't know the ending, of course. Knowing the ending, that's tough. I don't know how I might have done anything differently for a better outcome.

Would you change it in anyway?
As much as I'd want a different outcome, I learned so much during and after that I'd hate to forfeit the lessons. It was a very complicated relationship, not a typical boy-meets-girl. Much that I learned was outside of the usual boy-girl romance experience.

(When I think of really happy memories I get really sad. ..)

Now I really have to think of some good questions for you. Thank you.

1. If your home country was closing its borders and no one could ever come in/out again would you stay or leave?
Definitely stay. The USA is far from perfect but it's pretty good. It stands to get a lot better after the next couple of years.

2. Have you embraced your greatest fear in life?
I don't know that I'd want to embrace it. I'd rather look it square in the eye and move right past it. I've been confronted by so many scary prospects that the only way I could make my life mine was to conquer my fears and not run from them. I like the saying, "Courage is what you do in the face of fear." So true.

3. What is the hardest life lesson you've learnt?
You have to know how to love yourself before you can truly love anyone else.

4. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?
Unqualified acceptance and love.

5. If you fell in love with a girl who was not interested in this lifestyle, would you still be with her?
Being in love makes a huge difference. Yes. And I have great powers of persuasion. :D

6. What is your favourite (non sexual) thing to control in a relationship?
That's a tough one. I don't know. I don't approach a relationship as an opportunity to control anything. I see a relationship as a bonding with someone who holds similar values to my own. I'm not sure I'd want to control something that should already be synchronized.

7. What was the last thing you did you want to remember forever?
I helped someone turn her life around. I don't know why our paths crossed or even why I did what I did. It would have been so easy to just walk away but I didn't. I'm very happy about that. (And this had nothing to do with any romantic entanglement, just doing the right thing for the right reasons.)

8. Which would be the hardest sense to live without?
Common sense.

9. What is the last vivid dream you remember having?
I'm not really a vivid dreamer, at least when I sleep. Now fantasies are a whole different category...

10. What is your favourite song?
I have a few favorites. The classic "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong always makes me slow down just a bit. "To Sir With Love" by Lulu is pretty special too. So is Radiohead's "Creep". Julio Iglesias' "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" has a very special place because of where I was in my life when I first heard it. And of course "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. I think when you hear the right song at just the right time in life, it becomes a part of you.

You put a lot of effort into those questions. Thank you very much.

How are you tonight?
like I'm holding the lottery ticket with the winning numbers only to learn that it's for last weeks drawing. I felt like I had found someone very special only to have her pull away scared. I really hope she realizes there is nothing to fear.

How long did it take you to realize the difference between love and lust?
usually by the time the erection fades... Now? Lust is an appreciation of the female physique. Love is a very different, more complex emotion.

Do you enjoy eating pussy?
Yes. I'm eager for nearly any way to put a smile on her face. I never want to be a selfish lover.

Do you have a fetlife account?
yes, around here somewhere.

What is your favorite thing to do, not kinky?
Shooting, photography and "other". :D

Ever been in jail?
Nope, not even to visit someone else.

What is your favorite holiday?
they all feel much the same but I wish Christmas became very special to me again.

You want Kids? Would you rather have a boy or a girl? Or twins!
Definitely. Either. Both. Just healthy and happy is all I'd ask.

What is your favorite word in the English language? Why?
So many. Most of them would sound too corny and old-fashioned here. How about the word that sounds the best in any language: love.

What is your favorite motto to live by?
Being unafraid of failure frees you to succeed.

How does an airplane fly?
by forcing air under the wings, providing lift to the plane. And hopefully right-side-up.

Finally,
What makes life so important, what makes it worth living to you?
People and the opportunities to do even small things to make someone else smile. That's not something I understood until I outgrew my self-centered approach to life. By then I could see how I could have done better and understand the importance of giving.

I'm amazed at the timing of some of the questions. It's like you're watching me. Come to think of it, I have seen some black helicopters lately. I better get my tinfoil hat on so you don't steal my brainwaves.

Have you ever been cheated by any of your exes?

Would you prefer a girl who would stay loyal to you but have only vanilla sex or a girl who would possibly occasionally cheat on you but have the same interests as you in kinky sex and would be willing to try anything in bed?

Have you ever cheated on any of your exes while you were still in a relationship with them?

No, never. If I felt the need to cheat, the first relationship is already over. I'd make sure that was finished before starting anything new.

Have you ever been cheated by any of your exes?

Yes, typically with guys who had more money than I did at that time. Now I'm financially established but I know to avoid the woman who's only looking for a sugar daddy. I deserve more and won't sell myself short. And I know that I'll be very good for her so she wins too.

Would you prefer a girl who would stay loyal to you but have only vanilla sex or a girl who would possibly occasionally cheat on you but have the same interests as you in kinky sex and would be willing to try anything in bed?

That's not an easy one. I have to go with LOYALTY first. A girl who won't stay loyal to me isn't one I'll look at seriously. Since I'm not interested in playing the field, I'll hold out for the best of both worlds. Maybe the vanilla isn't exclusively vanilla after all, and maybe the "occasional cheater" is really looking for someone who can tame her desire to roam. Chastity belts are great for curbing that desire. :p

Thanks, J. I like questions that make me think.

Here I am as promised! Better late than never :)

1_ As someone who is older than most of the gD population, do you find it harder to relate/communicate with others or do you find it just as easy as you would if you were the same or similar age?

2_ If you could give one piece of advice to the world (and know that they would listen and follow it) what would it be?

3_ Do you prefer a compliant sub who never answers back and does as they are told or a sub who is obedient yet playfully sarcastic/cheeky? Why?

4_ Would you ever submit to someone else on a long term basis?

5_ Aside from the incident you mentioned with Theresa, is there anything else you would change if you could do so?

6_ Regarding yourself personally, what do you think the biggest regret you have is?

7_Have you accomplished any of your dreams and desires and if so what? Do you still have some left that you'd like to achieve?

8_ What's your most perverted fetish/kink that you're not too open about?

1_ As someone who is older than most of the gD population, do you find it harder to relate/communicate with others or do you find it just as easy as you would if you were the same or similar age?

I don't consciously treat anyone any differently because of age, gender or sexual preferences. I try to be respectful. Of course there's a difference. The most significant is that I have far more life experiences than most here. I can see things from a different vantage point. I'm not talking about dares or fetishes but about life decisions, how making one choice might have ramifications others might not notice. The danger of course is that I can sound too serious or even be a buzz-kill but that's not my intention.

2_ If you could give one piece of advice to the world (and know that they would listen and follow it) what would it be?

Probably some advice that I should follow more myself: Look, listen, think, and understand before you act.

Coming in second: If you never know what it is to lose, you'll never truly appreciate winning.

3_ Do you prefer a compliant sub who never answers back and does as they are told or a sub who is obedient yet playfully sarcastic/cheeky? Why?

Definitely the latter. I like spirit, vitality.

4_ Would you ever submit to someone else on a long term basis?

No. That would be like training a shark to fly. I make the effort to understand the mindset, to see how what I do flows into that mindset, but for me to actually take on that mindset long term? Not going to happen. I'm way too much Alpha.

5_ Aside from the incident you mentioned with Theresa, is there anything else you would change if you could do so?

There are "rare" moments typically when I acted like a self-centered ass but then youth has all sorts of excuses. ("Youth" includes up to my present age.) Putting it where the responsibility really is, I'm responsible for my own standards. My behavior should meet those standards. Each time I ducked those standards, I could have and should have done better. Those are the times I'd want to change.

6_ Regarding yourself personally, what do you think the biggest regret you have is?

Not having built the family that I wish I had today. Whether children or not isn't so critical but I miss "her". I won't rush to fill that role but when I find her, I will fight for her.

7_Have you accomplished any of your dreams and desires and if so what?

Yes I have. Without getting too identifiable, I've achieved some very worthwhile professional goals. I've made a real and positive difference in some people's lives. I've contributed to those around me. I've grown into a pretty decent person.

Do you still have some left that you'd like to achieve?

Yes, there are some still to be done. I'm very much alive and as long as I have goals that are important to me, I'm moving forward. And I'd like to think that when I'm dead, somebody might notice.

8_ What's your most perverted fetish/kink that you're not too open about?

I think I've touched on all of my deep dark secrets in my time on GD.

Frosty, you've done a good job with the questions. Thanks!

Sorry about missing this!

Do you believe in karma?

I'd like to say yes but I think there's something to simply being your best regardless of whether you might expect a reward for doing so. I wouldn't return a found bag of money because I expected a reward. I'd return it because that's the right thing to do. Give the reward to someone who truly needs it.

Do you believe in fate?

Sometimes I see things that seem too perfect to just be by chance, so I call it "fate". But why don't I see it more often? Fate seems to have the same reliability as rolling the dice.

What's the biggest challenge that you have yet to overcome?

Being human, flawed, temporary, weak. Ironically it's going to take dying to get past being human.

Biggest challenge that you've succeeded with?

Coming to a negotiated peace in accepting myself - good, bad and ugly. Learning that doing something good for someone else can mean far to that person than it takes for me to do it.

Favorite poem?

Not poetry per se... The lyrics from many of the songs by Simon & Garfunkel, like The Sound of Silence and Mr. Cory. With a world in turmoil, society seemingly binging and purging as it tries to reconcile the impossible, their songs encouraged the listener to actually reflect. To a kid in high school, that's huge.

How is life?

Like the saying goes, "It's you and me against the world. Personally I think we're going to get our butts kicked!" Yet every morning I get out of bed, get dressed and try to make a dent in whatever my purpose in life may be. Being able to do that makes me pretty lucky whether I see it or not.

Hey you!
How are you?

I'm doing well, thank you! It's been an unusual summer so far. Kind of looking forward to a bit of boredom. Interesting seems to come with a lot of extra work!

Miss me?

How could I NOT miss you??? You're smart, creative and oh, let's not forget beautiful! And I don't even HAVE to say that, unlike some of your beloved followers for whom you hold the key to their privates.

How's life?

It's life. Moving along. Staying healthy and active. Still in search of my Holy Grail, the love of my life.

What (kink wise) have you been up to?

Hmmmmm. Not as much as I'd like to. All playing online lately. Nothing beats a good realtime adventure. Nothing!

When's the last time you had an orgasm?

Last night. Well, a bit less than 12 hours ago actually. :D

Anything new and fun?

Not at the moment. It's all preparing for a better 2015. Getting ready for a big change in scenery.

What's the meaning of life?

Easy. It's Love. Being able to love yourself. To truly love others. And to feel the love others give to you in accepting you as you are, not judging you, and helping you to find the strength and wisdom to make yourself the best you can be.

Favorite song atm?

I heard this years ago by Alicia Keys ("Songs in A Minor"): "Moonlight Sonata" (Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 27: No. 2) Artist: Steve Anderson (iTunes store)

Haunting. Great to just relax, listen and let the music take you where you really want to be.

Be back soon!

Noooo! Don't leave me! Well, OK, but you better be back! :p

I don't know if you are still answering questions but I really enjoyed reading your answers. You must be a respectable, smart, interesting person in real life.

Well, one ("person") out of four is a win, right? And thank you for the compliments. Nice to be appreciated! :)

So you traveled to a country I have deep history with: Indonesia

Which part of Indonesia?

Jakarta and Bali.

Was it for work or holiday? Or something else?

It was actually a few short days in each location, working for a major entertainer on tour. Nice to actually be paid while getting to travel to so many locations.

Did you enjoy your time there?

I did, especially Bali. Shopping at the open market fairs was great! The wood carvings were amazing! It was especially funny that when I got back to the USA, I noticed a small wood sculpture of the same style as the ones in Indonesia. The price tag was $1,200 here. I paid $35 for a much larger (and nicer) wooden sculpture of an elephant while I was in Jakarta at the big marketplace! I remember wishing I had a shipping container full of artwork from that marketplace to sell in the USA!

What do you like and not like about spending a time there?

The people were nice enough. The smog was awful. The 3-wheel taxis really sent the message that the people there really didn't place the same value on life there as is found in most of the western countries. Those taxis really are accidents waiting to happen. And the roads just seem to encourage "meeting your maker" events! And how could I not remember the HUMIDITY?!!! I have NEVER in my life, not even in Miami in August, experienced such formidable (yes, that word applies) humidity as getting off the plane in Jakarta. Seriously, it was like walking into a WALL of wet heat. It felt like you could cut the air with a knife, it was that thick! Tip: After everyone with me also begged the answer, our liaison (a California surfer dude, no less) said the trick was to drink HOT liquids for the first couple of weeks. That apparently resets the body's thermostat so the humidity is tolerable. Being there only a few days, that didn't do anyone any good...

I could see a lot to like in Indonesia, especially Bali, but honestly didn't have enough time to fully explore the possibilities. Since that was nearly 20 years ago, before 9/11, the political climate was very different. Many places I might have visited then are places I won't even consider visiting now. Sadly, it's just not worth the risk anymore. :(

Thanks for the questions, Ariana.
