ok, this is the OLD/ RETRO vg thread.

you can talk here about all those old consoles from nes to playstation.

And of course also about the just new 'old consoles', the xbox the ps2 and the gamecube.

And dont forget, about things like PS1 to PSP and the VIRTUAL CONSOLE on the nintendo Wii

so to start the thread, what is your favorite retro game?

I miss my old Sega and Sonic the Hedgehog. Fortunately, I still have my amazing N64.

What about some PC classiscs? Wolfenstein, Rise of the Triad, Hocus Pocus, Halloween Harry, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventures, and Commander Keen.

Lucas Arts used to publish cool stuff too! Sam and Max, Day of the Tenticle, Fate of Atlantis, Full Throttle, The Dig, and Grim Fandango (not sooo old)

On my Wii virtual console I currently have Sonic Spinball, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sim City 2000, Gunstar Heros, Kid Icarus, and Super Mario 3!

I've always loved classic video games: the original Super Mario Brothers, the original Zelda, the original Pac-Man. However, one of my favorite classic video games has to be the original GoldenEye for N64, one of the best first-person shooters and certainly the best Bond game available.
As for computer games, SimCity 2000 has to be my personal favorite.

my favorite was Super Mario World for the SNES... it is still the best platform game ever!

I love Kirby!!! I still sometimes play Kirby: The Crystal Shards for N64; it's one of my favorite old games.

Wii Virtual Console: The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: Adventure of Link, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Gunstar Heroes, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World, Mario Kart 64.

I'm a massive Zelda fan so my favourite retro title would have to be A Link to the Past.

It was the original James Bond video game for Nintendo 64, based on the movie of the same name. Although the graphics are crappy by today's standards, the game basically set the precedent for console-based first-person shooters both single player and multiplayer.
