frontpage getDare

I am just wondering:

Guys, do you use the getDare frontpage (www.getdare.com) or are you only visiting the forum? I dont use the frontpage (the random dare/truth thing) and only visit the forums, so i think that if more ppl think that, depp could better set the forums as frontpage.

So what do you guys think of the frontpage of getdare, do you like it or hate it?

I don't use the main page at all, but I am against any website having their main page as a forum.

It is very confusing/confronting to new users. It also doesn't allow the webmaster to have the contents of the website clearly known to visitors, before viewing the forum.

I don't visit it at all, so I would want it taken down, but maby we could put that one getdare place where they have more of a chance of getting to the fourms.

It needs some updating. The colors are funky, its small, and for being the top of google. It dosn't show much. Make the forum button bigger too. It took me a week to find it =(

I think they're should be a bigger range of dares, with different rating settings (G and PG seem exactly the same)

I usually go straight to the forums and skip it so don't need it at all, but I see why it is there so removing it isn't necessary.

i dont use it but it should be kept because new users use it and it will attract them to forums. I remeber when i first joined i used it alot,

I think that we need a page like that put just diffrent. Yes, maybe more dares and higher things like G, PG, PG-13, R, and X.

I've been planning a massive redo of the front page for a while now. I just need the time. Don't want to really talk about what those changes will be at the moment however.

I have no timetable on changes. I have no money and work a lot so it could be a while. The plans and a little bit of the code are done. Just have to find the time to do the job.

The TORD generator will stay. The changes will be very cool but I want to keep them a surprise until I have the time and resources to get them done.

it is soo nice that depp is actually redoing the whole site, in the past he didnt do much about the site, but he is becomming more and more prominent on the site. Thanks depp for redesigning, creating new forums etc.

I have one slight suggestion for the forum that I don't think should take too long. You know how the slave/master, lounge, tord, dare, and truth forums all have that picture? It would be kinda nice to see all of the forums have pictures.

I like the fact its there, i suspect its wat attracts many people to this site. I think once it is done up there shouldn't be any issues.

Well, basicly, I found this thread (somehow :S) and noticed depp commented on the fact he has been planning something for a while now... That was almost 2 years ago.

Anyhow (Pronounced Anyh-oo-w for those who don't know my fun way of talking, weird mood today *Odd Dazed Look*) I think that it should be deleted. The front page should be the Truth Or Dare Archives, and have a nice big link to the forums (Well, there already is..).

Just my thoughts, but I find the "Dare Generator" quite annoying, and because of it, I no longer follow that link.
