OK, why not? May be fun if limits respected (nobody will be harmed, thee will be a pre-arranged "stop-word" that will be unconditionally respected and, most important, what happens at the party stays at the party - no photos, no videos, no need to disclose real names.

Try looking for local groups as well. There are many areas that host munches where people can get to know each other in a public, neutral setting before committing to any play. These will usually be once or twice a month, start off in a bar or cafe and then possibly move on to a restaurant for a meal, or some other activity.

A good thing about them is that they also have regular organizers, can give demos for techniques and quite often have one or two pros, or knowledge of. Sometimes they will have a fairly relaxed start for people to get comfortable or just chat, and then a later vendor fair for kinky goods and club night after that for those who do want some action.
