Anyone got good ideas of where to hide personal things in a bedroom..
My parents kinda search through things so I need good places. My friend told me about hiding things in a pc tower. Anyone ever try that?
Share your spots if you got some

Take the bottom drawer out of a set of drawers, and there's usually a space underneath that you can put things without them being seen unless the unit is moved, or the drawer fully removed.

I wouldn't try putting things in a PC tower, that can make the tower get really warm and the fans not work properly.

Erm... In the bottom of something normally works, the good old under the mattress does sometimes, but without knowing your room I can't really offer anything else.

Good luck though.

Depends what your hiding really, I used to have a small vibe that I kept in the same place Owlart talked about but it was found by my brother when he moved the locker :o

When I was younger I hid a porn mag in my pillow case  That didn't work too well either.

I'd suggest keeping whatever your hiding somewhere like, in a shoe at the back of your closet (an old shoe) or as CollardBlondie says, 'Under the bed' is always a classic :)

If you have a deep bookshelf, behind books would work. Or at the back of a wardrobe. Or, the classic, under the bed.

You could always try an old shoe box or something similar. You could hide your stuff if in then hide the box in the back or your closest or in top of a high shelf. If you have one or could get one, you could use a lock box and put your stuff in that. No one would be able to get into the lock box without the key and you could just say you keep personal stuff in there like receipts or bills that kind of stuff. You can also search on the Internet and find some things made to hide your stuff. I have seen things like a tissue paper box that was made f wood and the end slides out to put the paper in but in the bottom of that side is a little compartment to put stuff in. I had the same problem with my mom finding everything until I moved into my apartment for college, now she doesn't find anything cause it's all at the apartment. Good luck with finding a good hiding spot though, you will find something that works.

Well, you are 22. My suggestion would be to move out of your parents house.

if you've got a box spring matress, then you could slit open the bottom side from under the bed and hide things inside the matress between the springs.

depending on the size of the objects you want to hide, you could hollow out an old book and put things in it and hide it in plain sight.

more creative and time consuming... build a hidden door in your wall behind a picture.

Buy a large old book that seem it should have gotten trashed. Cut out holes in the pages to make there an empty space. Now you can hide things inside this book.

I like this idea. ;D

If you are 22, who cares what people find?

I don't leave things laying around but I don't "hide" them either really. :P

If you have a coat you don't wear any more hang it in your closet and hid the item in a pocket.

It's been said above, and I agree.....you're an adult....be proud of who you are. Don't hide anything....

I store them in an unused instrument case, upside down and backwards, with a few blankets on top of it, under a coffee table, in a corner of my room, with some things surrounding it. Even if someone made it through all that "security", all they would have is an inconspicuous instrument case that they have to turn around and flip to open. It helps that my mom has a bad back and doesn't like to bend. That all makes it a pain to get to though.

You can do something similar by storing what you want to hid in something inconspicuous, covering it up, putting it in a corner or a cabinet, then put stuff around it that one would have to move to get to. It helps if it isn't obvious you were trying to hide it. Like if my case was found, the way I have stuff, you couldn't tell that I was trying to hide it, nothing seemed out of place.

I hope at least some of what I wrote will be of use to you or someone else.

I have a cuddly toy with a pocket inside it that zips up along the seam (it's for keeping pyjamas in I think), that I keep things in. Just looks like a normal cuddly toy, but is really quite handy.

I have a locked box, that can only be opened with a key.

let your parents find them and when they ask you about them ask them if they wouldlike to try them. tell them it will make them be happier.

My parents are the ones who taught me how. I was raised in a very Liberal House. :)
