Quotations can be informative, inspirational, thought provoking or very plainly clarifying. Consciously or not, we are each affected by the quotes we are exposed to each day, from friends, society or the media. Thus, I enquire;

Is there a particular 'quote' that has largely shaped your life?

If so, why, how, and whom uttered such life altering worlds?

To begin, the quotation I live by is as follows;

"Be willing to surrender whom you are for whom you could become."

I am not entirely sure who first told me these words, albeit, the words themselves have never left me...
