Red vs Blue

So, there have been some whispers in the forum community about the entire girls vs guys challenges. While these threads are wonderful, they require a great deal of luck or coordinating. They also do not allow for the guys to get a chance to create any of the massively impressive punishment threads that some of our girls have become known for. This thread gives credit toTriangle and her highly successful GvB series. Please note: That currently rules are virtually identical to GvB. This thread is not meant to replace GvB, only to give a spin on the style.

Signing up: Before posting, select Red or Blue in the poll and then write that word in your signature. Keep the teams as even as possible, and once selected your team may not change. If you are caught being dishonest you will be banned from play in the future.

You may not double post – if you do you must edit it to say "No Number" or "DP"

The only time you can double post is if killing a game.

Red team +5
Blue team -5

Starting a game
Games must have both teams, so the second poster in a game must be opposite to the game starter So either
Red will post 55, Followed by a Blue posting 50
OR
Blue will post 45, followed by a Red will post 50

All rules are subject to review if requested by players.

Killing a game
Game may be killed (by anyone) is no posts (containing numbers) in last 10 minuites
If a game is above 60 then Red win
If a game is below 40 then Blue win
If a game is between 41 & 59 = Last Poster wins (or draw if hit 30 minute mark)

Games may be killed at any score if no posts in last 10 minuites (unless ended),
Game counts as killed when it reaches 0 or 100
Killer must make list of winners & losers


Auto Killing Games
Games auto kill 30 minutes after the 1st replying post, or if no-one replies games auto die 30 minuites after the time people could of joined in

Punishments

The Following Actions are punishable by 10 edges
Joining a game before start (on half or whole hour)
Joining a killed game (including auto killed)
Not editing old posts before making new
Killing a game & not posting list of winner & losers

If you join a game before the other team joins, post before half/whole hour is reached or try to keep a killed game going you must edge 10 times as punishment for breaking the rules.

If you cum while on denial you must post in this thread, Complete 100 Edges (within the next 7 days) & restart denial from day 1, double it length & make it non-reducible

Standard Punishment/Reward
At end of game all players should count posts (or act as if they posted once)
You must keep track of your own denial in signature

Losing team get 3 days denial
Denial "left to serve" may not go over 15 days, instead you must edge once instead of adding the extra day (if you keep playing you may end up being denied for more than 15 days in one stretch)

Winning team get to reduce own denial by 2 days, or store 1 day for reducing denial they may gain in future games

You may not store more than 14 days reduction

Punishment from Winners to Losers
Last 5 Winners to post get to punish last 5 losers to post
A winner may claim multiple losers if needed to use them all up
A loser may not be claimed more than once, in this case those who posted nearer to end of game get losers, the rest don't,

But some things, you didn't say anything about the post scores. I think from the starting it is +5 for blue and -5 for red?

I cannot be sure about it, but I think the GvB works because of its asymmetry. If this thread goes on maybe you'll have to adjust the scores of red/blue according to the population, else the chance of the team with more people winning is too high.

Also, both teams with the same score makes the numbers easier. This seems like a good idea, but less mistakes actually makes the game more boring, as less editing and chance is involved.

I have no idea how to do it. But maybe it would be more interesting to keep the teams and scores unbalanced?

Just wanted to leave my thoughts about it.
