ON a completely different note:
am i right in thinking that Jack arrived the exact same time the rifted started to become active? Just thinking it was around the same time 1869 and it could be significant. Probably was his fault the rift was there, seems a very jack thing to do.

I don't really know much when it comes to Jack and his timeline. I just take Jack for what he is, and I just accept that his timeline is fucking complicated xD

Became a con-man and meet the Doctor aged 42.
Got his first death in the year 200,100 after been exterminated.
Brought back to life by the Bad Wolf where the Doctor abandoned him.
Uses his vortex manipulator to get to Cardiff. over did it and lands in 1869.
1892 got shot in the heart. "Stray javelin"
Recruited into Torchwood 1392 deaths before fragments.
Follows the TARDIS clinging on to the TARDIS to the year 100 trillion.
Then gets put to the year 27AD by Captain john buried under ground.

That's the brief.

It's hard enough keeping up with UNIT timelines and the Doctor's age.

Think I'll stay clear of Jack's timeline for a while
