Invisibility, would you risk it?

Okay so you've got the ability to be invisible for 30 minutes at a time. The only catch is you have to be naked in that time. So you'd have to be mindful of how long you are naked.

The issue is you can't wear a watch even, so my question is would you risk it and how far would you dare go without clothes?

Also, where would you go?

I would, as long as I don't take too long to do something I'm safe. I would go outside and run around my neighborhood, a great motivator to not walk.

That is the thing, would have to make sure you don't loose track of time

I'd risk it. Just because you can't wear a watch, doesn't mean you can check people's phone or look at normal clocks. I'd go and do anything pending being able to reset the invisibility. If not, then I wouldn't go anywhere. Everything is too far to be fun.

Fair enough, I suppose you could just find somewhere you knew had clocks around

its not something I would be doing all the time but I would want that ability because I'm sure theres times that the ability to invisible would be really useful

It certainly would be but depends on what you are going to use it for

I think it's impossible to rob a bank in 30 minutes, and not sure if I could take a bag, so I won't risk. On the other hand, if there would be an opportunity to gain something from it, I might reconsider.

The spectrum is wide. It can be used by me to simply make a prank, through something more ambitious - like sneaking somewhere and obtaining an information which I can use afterwards, up to something very heroic - for example I can go to the Middle East wherever al-Baghdadi is currently at, and using such option to sneak up to him and to push him through the window. Hmm, invisibility.

She finds this a difficult question because of issues over how that would work. At what point does food and drink ingested become invisible and at what point does urine and poop become visible? It's thirty minutes at a pop, which is a good limitation, but how would it work regarding sight? The light has to reflect off things so that one can see and if one is invisible then the light must pass straight through with no reflection and so would she be blind when invisible?

This would add an interesting aspect to the whole affair! If one could hear then one could be found by echo-location and would be able, perhaps with practice, to judge location by the same.

Assuming that one does not ingest food within 12 hours of going invisible and has been to the toilet recently and is blind as a consequence then, sure, she would risk it just to have the experience. She would use it to listen in to conversations of people, using her own innate sense of time to manage the 30 minutes thing - she tends to be pretty good at timing and would likely under estimate rather than risk being found naked and suddenly having sight again.

She would need to know more about how the invisibility worked to know what else she might do with it...

30m mins at a time ? so assuming that every twenty nine minutes you have to hide and after 30 mins the ability comes back then I think you could achieve a lot... i like the idea of being outside naked without anyone knowing but where I live it is too populated and so it would become almost impossible not to walk into some one... a womans changing room might be fun and i could get there and out into the male one in 29 minutes. alternatively get locked in a shop at night...

If I had the choice I'd do it, I think it would be kind of thrilling, but I'd make it not to risky. Like there is a world of possibilities when you are invisible. I'd definitely want to exploit that.

That is an interesting idea actually, didn't think of how long it would take to come back

In a heart beat yes, I'd probably just count in my head and when I reach 20 minutes go get dressed to be safe. What I'd probably do is go to the pool, put my clothes in a locker, and then do it and go into the womens locker room or simply outside and then come back when needed
