The trash can.
My versus thread got thrown into the trash can. Why? If mines in the trash can, why not the others? What did I do wrong? Can I improve?
And I feel like calling people's hard work "crap" is a little strong and it would upset sensitive users like me. Could this be changed and worded more nicely? |

Good question. I looked at that post and I honestly have no idea why it's in the trash. I post here because I'd like to know the answer too.

If I was to take a guess it would be because something happened to or with the other user. I have nothing to substantiate that besides personal opinion, however.
But yes, why? Last edited by NonexistentFish; 06-25-2017 at 07:02 AM. |

In which forum did you post it originally? Was it on the Bets and Challenges?
Mods usually move threads to the trashcan if they are not in the right sub-forum

Yup, a versus thread is not a dare. I base my decision between moving it to the correct section or trashing it based on the user's recent activities on getDare. For instance, if the user is new then I'll move it to the correct section so they'll (probably) notice the relocation and (hopefully) learn from it. In your case, registered since January and over a hundred posts, I trashed it.
Even though the versus threads are not specifically mentioned, you can take a look at this Forum Descriptions thread to see where most categories of threads can be posted.
