Hello lovely people of getdare!
This thread is a little bit like betty's 'why they're hot' thread

the idea...
find a picture of a person you think is awesome..
fictional, celeb, user or friend whoever and tell us why they're awesome and show us why we should think they are awesome

Ok so my 1st choice of the moment is
(drumb roll)
Johnny Depp!

There are many reasons why Johnny (Jack Sparrow, Sweeny Tod and Edward scissorhands) Depp is so awesome... not only his quirky tallent and uniqueness...
He may not be as good looking as others, but is far from ugly, and may not be able to carry a tune (as we discover in Sweeny Tod) but for all of those things there a loads that make him brilliant.

Those captivating eyes and that charming smile among them.. not to mention his vast amount of of skills. brilliant at shaving, sailing and drinking rum along with running a chocolate factory.

There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
And it's filled with people who are filled with shit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it.
But not for long...

They all deserve to die.
Tell you why, Mrs. Lovett, tell you why.

there is a lot that he can do and a lot that he can't but he is awesome none the less as is sweeny tod my favorite of his alteregos.

Betty is right Gandhi was hindu, but I am sure that the lake didn't mean to offend anyone. Mistakes are made.

But back on topic, I think I like marvins person more for looks than talent... and

I think the one other person I really must mention is P!nk,

less commonly known as Alecia Moore.

not only is she an amazing singer and a phenomenal athlete (anyone who has seen her live shows will know what I mean) but she is strong, independant, passionate for what she feels and she is a strong supporter of PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals)

Plus she could kick the asses of most the men I know... even if they had a head start

I didn't take Loke's statement as saying Gandhi was a Christian. My understanding of Lokelake's statement was that many Christians do not live their religion as well as Gandhi practiced his religion. In other words, many Christains do not practice what they preach and Gandhi showed them up.
