now before I say anything, I myself am guilty a thousand times over of doing what i'm gonna have a rant about, so i'm not trying to appear as the perfect saint here i know I've done it million times before myself.


When I first started on GD there was very rarely a time when a single "person above" or "loser has too" thread would see the same dare or task repeated, normally the dares tried to be at least different to the last one if not an original dare/task it self.

however these days you regularly see most of these threads being filled by members simply saying "same dare" or "same as above".....it's fine once or twice but sometimes it can go on for 2/3 pages worth of posts, when did we as a community become this lazy and unoriginal that we cannot be bothered to think up new dares/tasks on these thread, wasn't that the fun of them!

like I said I've done it before myself but come on folks! lets try and produce some original content and shake it up a bit again to make threads seem exciting and different every time you view them

It's also fairly annoying when loser has to threads simply say 'loser has to do a dare of winners choice' etc. I join those so I know what I'm possibly getting into, but that leaves it just as much of a mystery (which I see why some would like, but I really don't)

I too hate it when it is done more than two or three times. I get it. Sometimes a dare is really exciting and good. But having to go back more than one page to find out what i would join in to? nope.

Even if I sometimes can't think of something original I just go back a few dozen pages and try to find an old dare that was good. By now, that sometimes needs to be several dozen pages just to find something different than the last three always repeating dares.

I end up just going back to 2016 or later stuff on the big threads, thats where all the good ones are

Thank you. I've seen this so much that i'm starting to avoid "looser has to" style threads. Which is a cryin shame because there are some awesome looser has to threads. But i'm just tired of needing to sift through 2 pages of "same as above" just to find out the dare is one I'm not quite interested in doing.

At the very least put in what the "dare above" actually is. Searching through pages just puts me off.

I'm new here but I've noticed that a few times already. If it's a good dare where it's both exciting to be in control or be controlled I get why people would keep repeating it.

I actually don't mind it too much. If you like a dare so much in it's original form, that you'd like to do it too, that's no problem. Some are amazing.

But at the very least, you could quote the original dare so everyone knows, what you're talking about. That's not brain surgery, merely rocket science.

I'm becoming more of a fan because I've noticed that people come up with dares that nobody is going to accept.
