I think 2 weeks is a good starting point, especially if you've never been in chastity before. If you have some experience already, then more time might be better. Try to judge based on how much experience you have.

if you dont have an chastity device it´s much easier to handle. how full your balls are depends on how often you have orgasms. atleast in the beginning.

If you've done it at least three times, try 2 months.
If you are a pro, lock yourself up for at least half a year, preferably longer... You will probably learn to enjoy even LOVE anal, since it is the only way to cum

I completely agree with the first part, but learning to love anal is not something you do after playing once... it takes practice, hence the 6 months.

I've been in chastity for a total of almost two years now with my longest session being the one I'm currently in, so I could say I have some experience...
My third time was around 6 weeks so 8 is not that much more, I do recommend however to allow for some hygiene openings. I didn't the first three times which was kind of stupid since at that time I used the CB600 which is rather difficult to clean. I wouldn't recommend that one by the way, to many edges that irritates your skin especially when wearing jeans.

There's a lot of people saying 2 weeks but if you're really and completely fresh to it, you need to take it slower than that for a multitude of reasons. Namely, you don't know better. So you don't quite have an idea yet of what to expect pain or discomfort wise. Meaning, you wont have a solid grasp of what it safe to try and push through, what is a sign that you should unlock ASAP and what is a sign that your body is telling you "hey, we've got a problem we weren't expecting"

If this is your first ever experience with chastity. Keep one key on your key ring at all times and keep one in a set location that it does not leave under any circumstances as a backup. Start with no more than 12 hours. If you're good still, try to take it to 24. starting as soon as you wake up until you wake up the next morning. If that works, with no issue. Go for 3 days. Then a week. Then 2. Then you can go for virtually any period of time provided you're mindful of your body and hygiene.

TLDR: Chastity is a marathon, not a sprint. Don't gas yourself out...
