Collarspace website?
Has anyone here used the website Collarspace and what were your experiences good and bad?
I have never used it but want to make a account soon and thought i would ask about others experiences with the site. |

I have been a member of CollarSpace, since the days it was called CollarMe. When I first joined, about 10 years ago, the site was vibrant and filled with like-minded people, especially newbies in to the lifestyle. I have met several people through CollarMe, including a few women who were in to rape fetish, which I was getting in to at the time.
Over the years, however, the membership dropped, and a few years ago, there was an acrimonious split between the co-founders, with one taking away the domain name CollarMe and locking down the site for months. The remaining co-founder restarted the site using the domain "CollarSpace" and restored the site from a backup, but the damage was done. Most of the genuine people had left, and the site was instantly repopulated by spammers, scammers, findommes (prostitutes), and pre-teen boys pretending to be lesbians. I have got countless emails from German nursing students (who don't speak German) stranded in Nigeria because their passports were stolen, who suddenly realized they are in love with me and want to fly over and be my sub. I hadn't realized how many German nursing students look like Russian porn stars. There are still some genuine people left on that site, and in countries such as UK, it seems to be flourishing. So, tread in with caution, don't trust everyone until they earn the trust, and don't ignore red flags. And yeah - never send money to anyone, for any reason.

Honestly "CollarMe" sounds way more appealing and simple. I can understand why not many people might have considered it after the change.
Just my view tho :P. I might just try the site.

Yeah. "CollarSpace" sounds like something coined by someone who still has a MySpace account (and worse - thinks it's cool).
