Would you rather --- technology edition

Would you rather

a) have no internet
b) have no cell phone

Option A means no internet at all, not from PC either, smart TV's and devices, etc.
Option B, you have access to the internet, just no cell phone which most of us have smart phones and are addicted to various apps, email, etc on our beloved devices...

Which could you live without? And tell us how difficult you think it would be.

This wasn't one I had to think about to long.

While I rely on my phone for so many things. Use it to make payments with ApplePay, have my contacts in it, messaging, web access, email and the list goes on and on. This would all be pretty pointless without internet and i'd have a basic old cell phone.

I rely too much on things over the internet, even outside my phone.

For that reason, even though it would be tough, I would have to choose no cell phone. It would be much easier if I never had the smart phone to begin with as going back to no cell phone would be a shock!

And if no cell phone at all? That was my intent. I did think about limiting to just smart phone, but I thought it would make the decision even tougher if it was an old style cell only good for calls.

I had thought about tablets when I was writing it. I didn't want to limit tablets in the options, as then you have to limit laptops, and then what, right?
But does your decision change if you only have wifi as an option on these other mobile device options?

No cell, definitly. Never been a big fan of phone calls anyway and i NEED the internet. I'd miss sending IM to my best friend though.

I'd go with B because I could adapt to not having a cell and there are other ways to communicate. It would take some serious adjustment, but I'd get used to it eventually. Say after a month.

If I had to choose, I'd go with no cell. I'm old enough to remember quite well the days before even bag-phones.
