How to create a poll?

Ok seems like a silly question coming from a member since 2012 but how do we create a poll and set a time duration to complete it. And how to delete the poll once its completed.

You have to choose the "Yes, post a poll" option in the additional opens below the new thread. Only AFTER posting you then get the options to edit the poll itself with the option of making the votes hidden or not and the option to set a time limit.

Like Jaroface said. But you can not delete the poll afterwards. If you chose a close date for the poll, then you'll see the statistics once the poll is closed.

Contrary to public belief, you can add a poll afterwards by clicking thread tools at the top and add a poll. You can't edit or remove them though

I have the same question, too.

However, for the life of me I can't find the "Yes, post a poll" option.

When I saw your pic I was positive that option wasn't available to me, since I looked over that screen several times. Of course it was there when I checked.
