Yes. It's weird for anyone to be kinky. However, it is especially weird for someone religious to be kinky. The Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) are not exactly known for their sexual liberalism. That's not to say that a person of these faiths cannot possibly be kinky--I would even postulate that that sexually repressive upbringing is itself very conducive to forming the psychological pathways that lead to kink. However, I imagine that, as this happens, many people either try to ignore their urges, or eventually drift away from their religions. As a former religious Jew who is now an atheist, I would of course encourage you to think critically about your religion, and ask yourself why you feel something is "off" about being a kinky muslim.

It might be something that is frowned upon in your religion, but it is not weird. It might not be easy to practice your kink, but you are not weird for wanting to try things. Besides most of the community on this site is accepting if you do want to express your kinky side, myself included.

It will seem weirder purely because its not really something that can easily be discussed among people of shared faith, and so people just don't talk about it. I have Muslim friends whose kinks put my own to shame, but in turn I'm aware that they only would tell me about it because I don't share that faith and its safer and more consequence free.

The absence of conversation about a subject doesn't mean that there isn't a subject to be discussed. It just means people don't talk about it so much.
