Thanks, everyone, for all your kind comments and support.

It's quite hard to remember how I felt when I wrote those opening comments before posting the first chapter, but I know I was incredibly nervous about putting the story 'out there' in the public domain!

Thatboy, I'm kind of sad that it's finished, too. I don't particularly miss the proof-reading(!), but I do miss revisiting the story, and, in a silly way, I miss Megan and Abi! I think I might have got too attached to the characters!

Anyway, I'm thinking of getting the story put in the Completed Stories section, so if anyone knows who I can PM to do that, I'd be grateful if you let me know.

And, Yorksdom and anyone else interested ...

... I'm writing another story! Yes, it's official: I have the writing bug! I've got a fair bit of it written already, but, as before, I'm not going to start posting until I have written the whole thing.

Hopefully, it will be ready to go sometime early in the new year.

Hi everyone, and (belatedly) Happy New Year!

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so I thought I'd tack it onto the end of this thread, as it still seems to be getting a bit of attention!

So, as I mentioned before Christmas, I've been writing new story, and ...

...it's pretty much finished! I'm just putting the last touches to it, and then I will begin posting. If everything goes well this weekend, then I hope to be able to post the first chapter tomorrow evening, or maybe Monday.

It's another slow-burner, and again features characters in their mid-to-late teens, by and large. Like before, if you want sex, sex and more sex, then don't bother with my stories; but if you liked The Sleepover That Changed My Life, then I think and hope you'll like this one too! I've gone for the Truth side of TorD this time, just for some variety; but it's mainly the development and interaction of the characters that I'm most interested in, again.

Well, I just thought I'd let you know, in case anyone's interested!

I‘m mostly a silent reader on here but after this great story i just could not help but post to say thank you, I love you and hate you with all my heart for the rollercoaster of emotions I have just found myself in.
You have an amazing talent for writing and a great gift of getting the reader to really feel with the characters, I dont even have the words to describe the sadness I felt and am still feeling about the deaths of two amazing Characters who really got to my heart.
I can‘t believe how real this story feels, especially considering how some things seem absurd at first, but you implemented them in a way that they feel perfectly natural!

Again, even though i feel a bit sad and empty inside and find myself thinking about my own life and how amazing people influence it. And how life seems to strike you every now and them, either with awesome or with horrible turns.
Really insparational writing, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm really glad you enjoyed the story (and endured it, too!); and I'm really glad you love and hate me as a result!

As I've said on here before, the stories I like best are those which allow you to journey with the characters as they experience life in all its joys and challenges. That's why it's heartening to hear how you were able to connect to the characters in my story, to my characters, into whom I poured a lot of time and emotion!

So, thank-you, once again, for taking the time and effort to pass on your kind comments!

First, thanks for completing your story, I have the same gripe as you and that's why I wrote 3 chapters 3 years ago and can't move beyond that.

I enjoyed the story, because it was a story if you understand what I mean.
