Bath Houses

I'm thinking of checking out a bath house in my city for the first time, was wondering if anyone on Getdare has been to one and what they're experience was like. If you haven't been to one, would you go? What kind of things would you want to do?

A bath house? Weren't those the things the Romans used in ancient times?

I have a bath in my house now, which I do like using.

If there would actually be a public bath house (I assume you don't mean a pool) I don't think I'd actually want to use that. I like to be naked, but I'm hardly an exhibitionist.

I've visited a local bathhouse. Went on a slower day the first time and more just explored. Eventually worked my way up to when I was participating and on busier days. I have had some fun at bathhouses but tends to be hit or miss.

the only time I was in a bath house was when I lived in Japan. just bathed and soaked in the tubs. I don’t remember anything else going on, but then the Japanese have a very different outlook when it comes to nudity than the US does.

I'm hoping to go when it's a bit quieter so I can get used to it, but the days I'm usually free are co-ed days so with ladies around I feel like it might be busy, depending on the percentage of mostly gay men there are that frequent this place. In North America, bath house's are more of a sexual thing as far as I know, at least the one in my city is.
