Do you prefer clubs or bars?

If you are going for a night out do you prefer going to a nightclub or a bar?

If you like both and can't choose you can say that too

I think it depends on the mood for the night... if I wanna have fun (and get ripped off

) I'd go to a club. If I want to just grab a drink, the bar.

Personally though I love whisky in my home.

I personally like bars only, clubs are too messy for me

When I was younger went clubbing most weekends and often went to a pub for a few drinks .
Now I cant drink .
Before suffering heart failure my ideal night out was a nice meal with a drink and a bit of naughty fun .
Now I cant even enjoy a meal out as I can only sit upright for short periods of time .

Definitely a bar, i'm more laid back and light to casually drink and talk. Not crazy about loud music and DJs, etc (though a good band is a different story).

- Karaoke bar
- Gay club.

Regular bars and pubs are too expensive for hanging out with friends. If I want to drink with people, it is much cheaper (and more fun) to just drink at home.

For clubs... Too many creepy guys in "regular" nightclubs. The risk of getting groped and drugged are high.

Gay clubs are more relaxing. Most people show up with friends just to dance (and drink). Less creeps and people that do come to gay clubs are better at accepting rejections.

I agree with you completely on the clubs

I like karaoke bars as well, when you say drinking at home do you mean house parties?

I honestly can't handle either one. Too many people. Give me a decent restaurant that just happens to serve alcohol and I'm fine.

Somehow I read the clubs of cards (image #1) and bars as in metal bars (image #2) so I was really confused. But I understand now.

I enjoy clubs more with the music and strong alcoholic drinks. I don't like beer and that's what's drunk the most in bars, right?

I prefer bars, but mainly because I dislike clubs. Bars are fine, but the prices for everything there are higher than when you buy something in a normal store. So I prefer to visit the bars in Winter, while in other seasons I pick simply outside - hiding from the police that if will see me with a beer bottle I'd be granted a ticket to pay. But by far I'm lucky, feeling almost like a recon in the jungle, invisible and never caught.
