[Non-Fiction] A Friend's Most Embarrassing Moment

A group of friends were drinking and just hanging out when someone started to tell embarrassing stories. Eventually we went around each telling the group something embarrassing that had happened to them. The following was agreed upon to be the most embarrassing thing that any of us had ever had happened.

The guy, let's call him Jake, had been fourteen at the time. One warm summer night he snuck outside to engage in some illicit skinny dipping. Jake slipped out of his boxers and tee shirt by the pool side and slipped as quietly as he could into the water to not wake his parents. He has an older brother and sister but they were not home at the time.

Everything was going fine until the kitchen light turned on. Through the window, Jake could see his mom. Panicking, he climbed out of the pool and hid in some bushes. His mom must have seen something because she then came outside. Unfortunately for Jake, his mom quickly found him. Jake described it as mortifying to have to crawl out of the bush buck naked with his mom watching and then having to stand there waiting for her to say something. Thankfully all she said was to get back to his room.

Jake rushed back inside and upstairs, forgetting about his clothes by the poolside. He didn't even realize his mother had picked them up and followed him upstairs. Once in his room he found himself still naked in front of his mom. She glared at him for what seemed like hours and then asked, "Were you masturbating under the bush?"

Jake said he wanted to die at that point. Thankfully for us he didn't and lived to tell the tale for our enjoyment. Jake protested and explained, still naked, he had just been skinny dipping and had hid so his mom wouldn't see him. His mom believed him and left him to dry off and get dressed. Jake said he's never been skinny dipping since.
