Hmmm when you've got a set release date I think you can do it so no one can edit time, as it's a year you will have to unlock him for cleanings, I tend to make slaves used numbered tags

You could buy him a resin jewellery making kit, then he can make himself a necklace with the keys set inside the resin.
This will make a nice addition to his female look and if anyone asks him what the keys inside the resin are for he would have to explain.
